How do you see your mystery shopper rating?

I have been a mystery shopper for 1 company for a few years, but have just begun to sign up with various other companies. I have completed 1 assignment and accepted a second. How do I see my rating when I get one and how long does it take to raise it? Is it a question of a certain number of shops?

That depends entirely on which mystery shop company (MSC) you worked for.

I notice that several jobs state that you must have a certain minimal rating for that particular assignment. Does that mean that you need to have worked for that particular MSC in the past so that you have earned that rating with that company?

Some say that a minimum rating of 5 is required for certain shops. Those companies almost always start a new shopper out with an automatic rating of 5. It is then up to how the shopper performs to raise their average by earning higher scores on each shop, usually on a scale of 1-10. A few MSCs use difference scales and systems, buth this seems to be the most commmon one.

And with some companies you never get a rating. One that I do a lot of work for gave me comments so that I could fix a mistake I made on one report, but other than that, if they have a rating for me I don't know about it!
