Online Mystery Shopping

Howdy folks. I'm pretty new to the mystery shopping game, a few months in. I live in New Zealand and am familiar with the local companies here. I am curious if there is such a thing as "internet mystery shopping"? Perhaps with larger companies like amazon etc. There are so many types of mystery shopping these days, there I'm sure there must be. If there is such a thing, do you know a good place to start/companies to sign up with?

On occasion a company that has mystery shops does have an internet shop, though they tend to be rare. There are a whole lot of 'companies' that offer 'mystery shopping' that are only affinity marketing. You should beware of these because they want you to register for 20-30 'free trial offers' with a promise of paying you $20, but before they will pay you need to do another list or two of 20-30 'free trial offers'. You get to the websites via their affinity links and they are paid a referral fee for each person they send who signs up. Not only are you leaving your credit card number and personal contact information at a lot of places on the web, but you must be ready to cancel all those trial offers before they are no longer free and hit your credit card. You are now on the telemarketing lists and likely on the email spam lists.
Hi SpreadtheWord! Welcome to the forum!

Mintel, Shoppers View, and Best Mark offer web shops. Also, check the iSecretShop platform; I always see web shops there.

Sign up with as many companies as you can. You never know when they offer web and phone shops.
