Hello

I will admit that I have been reading the posts for a while without signing up (as best I can). My theory – every time you sign up for something you get an additional zillion and 1 spam-mails about nothing. Then I realized, every time I really want an answer, I cannot find (or access) it readily…so….I spend unnecessary time mumbling under my breath while I bumble through the issue.

Basically ----- membership has its advantages ….soooooooooo…..here I am…..

Recently I completed activity for what added up to a good route ---- until--- the scheduler waited a week and then proceeded to call me multiple times every day about their mistakes. (ie. why didn’t I do such-and-such; what does so-and-so mean; ) Each time the call ended with the scheduler saying --- oh, I forgot to mention that or oh I didn’t know I need that until now. I have done multiple jobs for this particular company over the years with other schedulers with no problems. This scheduler is new so….I figure it was the scheduler’s lack of experience. No big deal… I’ve learned that there is some give and take.

So maybe I should just wait this scheduler out until the experience sets in… what do you think?

In the meantime, I will go over and “hover” in the New Mystery Shopper forum.

Welcome Mshpme! (how is that pronounced?)

I don't have much wisdom for the situation above. It sounds like you are patiently answering this scheduler's questions. Are there other schedulers that you can try to use? I'm sure within a few weeks this scheduler will have their feet under them.

Can you tell us which MSC this is? Maybe others have had the same issue.

You know, I never thought about the pronunciation when I created the name....so... I am not really sure...

Yes, I can. I was thinking the same thing, if I wait a while, it will go back to normal. I have done different things for this MSC (Greet America), with no problems except this one instance.
I haven't done any work for them as it appears they are just merchandising, yes?

Perhaps some folks over in the merchandising thread could help you out. Otherwise, that might be a good source of other companies to fill the gap while you wait out the scheduler FH.

I mostly accept merchandising for them, but this one was definitely a mystery shop or as they put it “covert audit” for something particular they were doing. I think their focus is merchandising, so maybe that was why it went differently.
Interesting. I'm not into merchandising, but if they started doing "covert audits" I would be interested.

What kind of business? How did it go?

Retail - It went well. I was required to ask for assistance with biking and camping accessories (in a store that sells everything imaginable – i.e. see if I got special attention or was just directed to the right aisle in the store.) The max time per store was 20 minutes. I completed 9 in a day. I am not sure of their reasoning, but I enjoyed the actual assignment. There was really nothing for me to do – and – I got paid (eventually).
