I think what you are asking is if shoppers, who are conducting dealerships shops, feel they are being identified and do they feel the associate is scanning their shirt, looking for the video camera "button". How did I do? smiling smiley

Since I don't do video shopping and haven't done a dealership in many months, unfortunately, I have no experiences to report.

Someone else will...

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
Not so much with car dealerships, but with other heavily shopped industries. For me it has been on some apartment shops. Since most sales associates at car lots are still male, it could be the other reasonsmiling smiley

This made me a little scared to get into video shopping!! Starting after training in the summer. Do you enjoy being a full time shopper?
I have been video shopping very actively since 2005. The only times I was "dropped" (i.e., IDed as a shopper) it had nothing to do with the equipment. It was me making a foolish mistake with a scenario or declining to tour some final amenity at an amenity rich community. This is why I always tell newbie video shoppers that the equipment is the easy part of this business. And, the newer equipment is so much more reliable since there is no hard drive involved, that equipment failure has become quite rare compared with pre-2009 rates. After nine years of video, I have made every mistake in the book, including forgetting to turn the bloody thing on, but the camera has not given me away.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Glad to hear this, I have been wanting to do the video shops and I finally see training coming around in my area this summer. It could really boost my numbers and I'm happy about that.
