Hello, everyone! So glad to see this forum exists. When I started in 2003 there was nothing to assist me and no one to bounce ideas and questions off of. I did a lot of shopping over the years on and off. My favorites were the bridal shops and fine dining reveals, but I also took the small fast food shops. Now at 49 and needing a source of income due to being denied disability again and again, I'm going to try this and hope I schedule shops on my good days. That may be a challenge. I've already found in the two weeks since I've start that there are about 400% more companies than I used to shop for. I believe I had only ten! I'm afraid to sign up with all of them and be unable to keep up with them, so I'm hoping to get guidance here.
I know so far I will be more selective with my time and what jobs pay. I will not do any more gas station jobs where the prep study is 27 pages for a 10 minute job that pays $7. Live and learn!
I'm really hoping to meet new friends on here and make new connections! I was an investigator for 14 years so I've got that skill. I'm a great actress (or so my church thinks I am). I love playing parts that aren't the normal me, and I can't wait for exciting jobs to come my way!
