Anyone work for CastForce

I got an email and a call from them but from what I see on their board, they want a lot of work for little pay. Anyone worked for them, is it less work than it appears? The job I am offered is putting balloons on sticks and arranging a display for $11, supposed to be 60 minutes of work and 2 pictures. Do they have other jobs that pay more after you get your foot in the door? Input appreciated please.

Generally they are known for expecting a lot of work for little pay, and they pay with a stupid debit card instead of cash. Some people like to use debit cards; I'm not one of them. I want a record of all my transactions so I pay checks and credit cards for everything.

The last encounter I had with them they took three pay cycles to pay me for a "drop everything and do it now" gift card "tidy up" at a local grocer. For what little I had to do (there wasn't much to tidy up) the $40 was pretty good pay but i probably spent another hour writing emails trying to get them to pay me and then they paid me on that damn card after I had decided i wasn't going to work for them any more because of the debit card thing.

most of the time I was doing merchandising jobs at the local wal mart. The local wal mart is small and understaffed and it always took longer than they said it would.

if I'd known then what I know now i would never have worked for them. But your mileage may vary. If you don't object to the payment card thing (other than that $40 issue, they paid reasonably quickly without any issues; they tell you when payday is and were never late that i can recall) give it a try. The jobs they have in your area may be more reasonable than the ones i had to do.

The one you described is about typical of their offerings, usually working out to about $11 per hour and the reports are usually fairly straightforward. If you do the same jobs over and over, you'll get faster. Be sure to get the "before" pictures before you do anything else. it's easy to forget.

Time to build a bigger bridge.

Thanks dspeakes, I went ahead and accepted this job but I told her I may not continue. This one is an hour away and they are giving me 3 jobs for an incentive of 75 plus the fees. Sticking sticks in balloons, (and signage?) hope it doesn't turn into a nightmare. Both stores are Super so hopefully it will be quick. I'm not crazy about the debit card thing either but will see how it goes. The scheduler is super nice, that's always a plus. :-) Thanks again.
I work for them and like them. They usually pay $11 per hour, but some of the jobs can be done in quite a bit less then their allowed time. I have never been given work that was out of my capabilities. Signed Night Owl, at 2:20 am.
Tawana 1956 - how did your balloon job go? I have done a few jobs for them, and have had mixed experiences. I have had no issues getting paid, however the debit card is a pain. I have done a couple of "quick restocking gift cards" jobs which both took much longer than stated. Both times I ended up with displays that had not been properly set to plan-o-gram, so in addition to restocking the cards I had to totally reset the display. This turned "20 minute" jobs into 1 ½ - 2 hours. I think they were originally set to pay about $12, but they were bonused due to being last minute jobs. If it hadn't been for the bonus I would have been making less than minimum wage.
The staff is pleasant to work with and are generally pretty helpful. They have a support line that you can call if you have a question during the job. Unfortunately, they don't always answer if you are doing the job on a weekend.
Overall - like the other folks stated - it is a lot of work for pay, unless you happen to get one of the jobs with a bonus.
Hi EVD, I haven't done the balloon job yet. I have some kind of signage job to do at the same locations and am waiting on some supplies they are supposed to be sending me. These jobs are bonused but also some distance away so I was trying to bundle some jobs but am a little afraid to because I don't really know how long they will take. Hopefully they will be fairly quick. The balloon job doesn't really look difficult, however, I've done merchandising jobs where it took longer to find the product than it took to put it out so I'm just trying to keep thinking positively. I'll let you know after these jobs how they went, thanks for asking. :-)
The balloon jobs take about an hour from start to finish...if the product is in the back room. At two of my stores an associate checked on the telzon and I was able to walk right to the boxes. Simple project.
I have no complaints with the company. They have been more than fair and I get incentives on lots of the jobs. I really don't mind the card as payment as I just take it to the US Bank in my town and they give me the cash. It is similar to PayPal except you have to either go to the bank or to an ATM machine. I get paid as stated and it has never been late. I really like company and the schedulers.
Thanks everyone. Due to some health issues at the time I ended up not being able to take the jobs. They were very good to work with on scheduling and even when I had to cancel the jobs.
Castforce is growing and they are coming up with new clients and more work every month. BECAUSE they do a lot of the same projects over and over, you will get faster and faster and make more money on each project. it is good to take a block of projects that are all close to each other, even if they are not that close to your house. that is a good way to make money with Castforce. the pay / debit card system is better than what they used to have. you now get paid on the day of the pay. No waiting for a check to be mailed to you. the card they send you works n the chase atm machines that are in most CVS pharmacies. a lot of their work is in CVS Pharmacy so shouldn't be a problem to get your cash.
Today was my largest paycheck with Castforce. It was $2205! I did a lot of work for them over the past three years and each month try to work smarter to get more income. Great company to work with and the administrator for the state I work in is supportive and love working with. I hope to have a long future with Castforce and encourage anyone to work with them, just not in my area!
I completed many of these balloon jobs and you can do them in 1/2 hour. They are easy and fun. They usually are at large stores such as Walmart.
I usually enjoy working for Castforce. Unless there is a special circumstance, I won't take anything but the one hour jobs. I usually get sent to CVS or Walmart. Only once have I had to go back to a store because they wanted a different picture.
