Example: say your planogram calls for Sears $25, Sears $50 and Sears $100… You have all of those cards but you also have sears $15-$500, which the planogram does not call for. Do you toss the $15-$500 cards?
They may be on a wing or a check out display. At large stores there may even be shippers in other departments. I would ask your company for further direction if nothing is specified in your instructions.
I just did a total reset with a brand new fixture and I had a peg on the planogram that called for a $25 card, but in the shipment they sent me for that stores card was only a pack of $15-$200. No where else in the store was that particular card on any of the planograms. So I kept it in the back stock until I can learn a little more about this process.
If they are not on your planogram ask the Manager if they want to keep them. If not, toss 'em. If they are not on my POGS, I look around the store. I don't bother asking the Manager. If they aren't any where in the store I toss 'em.
