5 Guys Burgers and Fries shops

I am going on a small road trip to visit a friend that messed up her knee and ankle in a motorcycle accident. She is close to a 5 Guys Burgers and Fries. Has anyone done this shop by the company that does the golden arches and also has mc jobs? If you have done this... can I take my friend with me or does it have to be done alone? How is the food too?

You can take your friend but you will only be reimbursed for YOUR burger, fries and drink. When I took my sweetie we split the fries (which certainly made it a more appropriate portion) and got a soda and a water. So the only unreimbursed expense was the second burger. We absolutely love the food. "Boardwalk fries" took some getting used to as they are different than what we normally think of and expect as 'fries'.
Done both, the McD is done alone. The 5 guys doesn't matter, just reimburse for you. I'd bring friends with a lot of pockets if you like peanuts, remember it's football season.
% Guys will reimburse for a regular burger smallfries and drink. As Flash says you won't need to get 2 fries and also gey a water for you friend. You must order a fountain drink or you won't get paid or reimbursed.
The regular burger being the one patty burger/cheeseburger (As known on the menu as the "Little Burger"winking smiley. This plus reg fries/reg drink is the "standard" order for which you won't come out of pocket. Get the "Burger", which is a two patty burger/cheeseburger and reg fries/reg drink and you'll only go over the reimbursement by a nickel (at least in my neck of the woods).
And what a lovely nickel it is! There is a whole different mouth feel to the burger than to the little burger. I used to think we could split a burger but found I really did not want to share :-)
There are enough fries in that cup for 2 or 3 ppl...I can never finish them, nor should I! lol.....

But it does take some getting used to, those french fries but now I luvvvv them!smiling smiley

I think you guys have talked me into the double patty burger next time....
I have done a couple of these and they are terrific. A little rough on the heart I'm sure, but a nice treat every once in awhile. I took my husband and my 14 month old (at the time). Great fun, easy shop and yummy!
