No more bonuses!

I thought this was funny:

This month we will NOT be offering any shop specific bonuses. Please do not wait until the last minute hoping that we will offer an extra bonus, as we will NOT be doing so. However, we will be offering a $30 BONUS for completing 5 shops this month, so please pick up your shops early to guarantee that you can get 5. (If you have already scheduled or completed 5 shops in November, you will still be eligible for the $30 BONUS.)

This company often has some crazy bonuses ($100+) for a shop originally $15. I'm out of rotation for the ones in my area, and I assume that's part of the problem with people not signing up right away too.

I know who this is, too. They periodically send out a "no bonuses" e-mail similar to this after a few months of paying bonuses, then a few months later they are back to the bonuses. There are 2 other companies locally also shopping the same bank. This company is the only one of the three that has to offer massive bonuses to get their bank shops done. I'm sure location and rotation are factors, but that's not the whole story. Although I like the scheduler - actually there is a new scheduler now, who I also like - I shop for this one only when they bonus the shops. The other MSPs offer a 5 day window in which to do the bank shop, allowing me a lot more flexibility of scheduling, while this company is Prophet and makes me select a day. During the first 18 months I worked for them, I missed getting paid 3 times for $15 shops. I eventually got paid but their Accounting Dept. is one person, who is very unresponsive, and it takes a month or more of multiple e-mails to get a response, making the time spent on collecting the fee far more than a $15 fee. So for the last year I have worked for them only when the shops are bonused. I figure it's not worth it to me to have to chase a $15 fee but for $65 or $75 I will risk having to chase the fee. Even when they bonus, it is bit of a pain (but worth it for the bonus money) - after sccheduling and reporting the shop, you must e-mail the scheduler that you did the shop so she can "put you in for the bonus." About 1/4 of the time, I get paid for the shop but not the bonus and must then e-mail the scheduler who then requests the bonus again. I also laughed when I saw the e-mail abouot no bonuses this month.... because it means I won't be working for them this month.....
Whenever I get a threatening we won't be giving bonuses so take this low paying out of the way job now email, I think "well good luck with that," and now even if I am going past this spot I am not taking the shop.

I think its fine if they decide they aren't going to offer bonuses but no need to tell me. If the company doesn't feel they need to offer bonuses they must have enough shoppers and a plan to fill the shops.

I took a supposedly bonused shop with them and emailed the lady about it. I told her the city I would take and she gave it to me but it was not bonused. It was out of my way but then come to find out it was not bonused. I will no longer shop for them anymore as this is bad business. She is no longer the scheduler and I think the new guy is getting a feel. I wish noonewould take the shops and let them sit there.

Who is the msc?
Informa Research.

I did two shops about 2 months ago, then fell out of rotation or can't seem to land any more near me. I'm not hurt by any of it. I used to get excited about the bonus emails, only to see they're hundreds of miles away.

Edit: I've never had a problem with this company. Paid on time and good communication, but just the nerve to say this. It's one of those obvious things that perhaps doesn't need to be brought out? I personally have never specifically waited until end of month hoping for bonus. I know that might happen, but if it's one I want in the first place, I'll take it before it's gone because more likely than not it will be gone ASAP!
