I am not sure what has happened with UE. But, check out the message on Introductions from Video Pros.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Carrie Porhammer has moved on to a new position in the marketing/training department of a major automobile manufacturer. (A good example for those who would like to possibly return to a more corporate environment - Carrie was able to parlay her MS and training experience into a great new career!)

There is a new group, made up of several different highly experienced video shoppers, who will be performing video training.

See the thread above - the new group are all excellent and the training will no doubt be likewise.

The new group has the endorsement of both the IMSC and the big 7 video companies that sponsor the VSN.
Edited to add: IMSC does not endorse ICs. Sorry to the misinformation.

I've been thinking about video shopping for quite a while now and am now considering one of the new training company's workshops.
Those of you who were on the last IMSC member conference call heard about this last week, but since we are getting so many emails with questions, we wanted to offer an update for everyone regarding the dissolution of Undercover Essentials. We would like to thank Carrie for all she has done in the video shopping industry and her support throughout the last few years.

The IMSC will now be working directly with VSN (Video Shopping Network) to provide the video training at most of the upcoming conferences. VSN will decide on the educator for the conferences they attend. Should there be a conference they are unable to attend, the IMSC will utilize the skills of expert, certified video shoppers, approved by VSN to provide the training. The materials used for the training will come directly from the VSN companies as well as material given to us by Debra Buggie, a pioneer of video shopping.

The IMSC was the first to present video training during the 2009 IMSC conference in Las Vegas under the direction of Debra Buggie and we will continue to offer you the education you want and need.

We have listened to your feedback and we will be incorporating that feedback into the new program. For example; the cost will be reduced, making it more affordable for shoppers to attend. The program will be changed to accommodate shoppers based on their needs. We understand everyone learns at a different pace and the new program will offer you more options.

More details will be posted soon, so please be patient as we make this transition.

The IMSC has no part in the training Jeff and Kathy are doing other than offering our support since they are independent contractors. The IMSC always supports independent contractors.
I am really bummed: 1) I attended Carrie's session and did not receive a certificate or any recommendations for the equipment she promised in class 2) The two individuals starting a new program left a less than stellar impression on me during the Atlanta conference: the snarky comments aimed at the speakers, condescending tones both of them spoke to me in.... - very disapointed
Hello all,

Life circumstanses dictated the I find another revenue source with more stability. I am sorry if you have misunderstood this situation, but I am still here for your support. I am not going completely away, but I support the VSN and what they are doing. Please don't discount the value of the training, because it is still recognized, I just need to move on. I have had an increditble time working with all of you...and don't anticipate leaving anyone in the lurch. Please let me know if you need something from me.

Hugs to you all! I wish you prosperous lives! I will miss the interaction with all of you.

Carrie
Having just found out about the dissolution of Undercover Essentials, I have a couple of questions.

First, is there any chance Carrie is still doing training in her spare time (i.e on week-ends, evenings)?

Secondly, will video training be offered at the remaining 2013 IMSC conferences? I looked at the IMSC website, and I don't see any specific mention made of the video training.

The web-based training would still be more optimal, a lot less expensive, and easier to plan without all those travel related expenses, including finding a place for my little doggie to stay while Mommy's away!

I did speak to Carrie a couple months ago, and this recent development comes as a huge surprise, to say the least.

The IMSC will have video training at each conference. We are waiting on the exact details from VSN and we will then put the information on our website. In the meantime, feel free to email us at info@imscinfo.com with any questions you might have.
We are sorry if we left a poor impression on you in Atlanta. The only negative we displayed was to the representatives from PayQuicker. This was because we were trying to drive a point home that would eventually effect all shoppers.

We are certainly capable to and have completed video training sessions in the past and between the two of us have over 25 years of video shopping experience. If you have further issues that you would like to address please send an email to either IMS247@verizon.net or KPMccord@gmail.com. It is difficult to know what the problem is if you don't identify yourself.
