Shop Status 9

Is a shop status of 9 with Reality Check good? bad? so so? I'm new to this grading system as I have been mostly shopping just for Best Mark and Marketforce til now so I have no idea with this means. I looked at the status FAQ thing on jobslinger and it said each mystery shop means differently. Anyway I can find out for sure what it is with that particular company? Thanks.

I don't think a score is important unless it's low. You'll get paid for a 7 just like you'll get paid for a 10. I always regard a score as the MSC's silly little power trip.
But having consistently high scores help you get more and better-paying jobs. And if you have an issue that requires you to reschedule a shop or ask for an extended reporting time, the high scores can work in your favor. I speak from firsthand experience.

I agree, I'd much rather have a average of 9 than an average of 7 even though I would be paid for both. I would love to have an average of 10 but that goal is unobtainable for me so far.

Yea there was a shop available that paid $45.00 but a shopper score of 8 was needed in order to apply.
