USPS Shops - Looking for package swap buddy

Hello all,

I've been doing the USPS shops for some time and used to send packages to myself at my other address when about to travel there. That's no longer an option for me (long story) so I'd like to get a shopper buddy that I can mail a weighted box back and forth so we can both routinely do USPS shops.

I live in mid-Atlantic (first three digits of zip code are 212) so I'm looking for someone in my zone 1-4, in a zip code starting with:

005
010-199
240-243
245-253
255-266
270-312
318-319
370-374
376-379
384-385
399-418
421-497
600-611
617-619
624

If the first three digits of your zip code appear above and you'd be interested in shipping a weighted box back and forth with me, doing USPS shops, please PM me.

Thanks!

It might be easier for you to find the thread with PO buddies or the like in it. There, people have posted more information about thier addresses.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
Unless I'm mailing from my own zip code or doing a DIM weight shop, I mail packages to myself. From my own zip code, I mail to my sister and get the box back from her. For a DIM weight, I ship to a friend three states away. (I used a DIM weight shop to mail her an old Ipod recently -- probably the most expensive postage ever spent on a three ounce, 2x2 inch item ever.)

I tape all over the face of the box twice, then peel the Priority labels and postage label off and just reuse the same box. The second layer of tape allows you to remove labels that won't peel off nicely. Peel off the tape, put new tape, and you're good to go.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
I've got two "buddies" now, so I don't need anyone else to PM me. But perhaps others would like to use this thread to find buddies of their own?
There is no post office within my usual available distance (I'm on a bike and have a radius of about 3 miles due to the climate where I live), but there IS one close enough that I could probably convince my mom to take me there on her days off. I'm in 85307. (And hey, if any of y'all are crocheters or knitters with extra yarn you'd otherwise just throw out, you can get paid to ship it to me. I'm trying to start an Etsy, I won't complain at all.)
You can always send a book or magazines to any nursing or senior home. They are always welcomed...
Now that's a great idea. I have bunches of magazines and it doesn't take all that many to make 18 ounces.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
I do these shops all the time and would love a "buddy". I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin zip 53215. If my zip works for you, drop me a note. We can exchange cans of veggies and magazines! LOL
