Yes, I did sign up and yes I did link some companies.

I found Ritter that way and have done a lot of jobs with them in just the past few weeks.
I think this is the one I never seem to be able to sign into. I haven't found much use for job boards because I don't trust them to have everything so I have to check all my MSCs individually anyway when I'm building routes.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
Now that I took another look at it, (I have solved my login problem but had been out of the habit of looking at this) it appears I can link all or most of my shopmetrics companies here. that might actually save me some time if it gives me a one-stop shopping place for shopmetrics, and I can use Jobslinger for most of the Sassie shops.

So . . . thanks for bringing up the subject. I think I'll try to see if it will help me. I just linked a bunch of my companies to it.

Msjobboard for a long time was "broken" and would not provide the shops for the area you were searching for but it now appears that they have fixed it.

That web site and Jobslinger are both great sites for newbies.

Remember, each MSJB company have there own pay system--------->payPal, payQuicker, DD and checks. Just saying, know where your money or pay is going.smiling smiley One stop shopping is goodsmiling smiley
I take all forms of payment. If I don't have a record of payment by about 60 days after the shop, I look at their guidelines (or my history of payments) to see when and how they should pay. A lot of times money has slipped quietly into my bank account and I didn't realize it because they didn't send an email. So about once a month I look to see what came into the bank account and check it against my spreadsheet before I contact anyone about "where's the money?"

It's a bit awkward for me because I do all my mystery shop reconciling on one computer (the laptop) and all my bank reconciling on another computer (the desktop) that has Quicken on it. I haven't taken the time to come up with a better way to integrate the information yet.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
Why do you keep the two totally separate? Originally loading my older version of Quicken onto my laptop was not an option. All of my banking and financial transactions were handled on my PC. My MS spreadsheet was on both.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
I do my mystery shopping stuff on my laptop, in my recliner chair, usually while watching TV.

I do my accounting stuff on the desktop computer because that's the one that has all my accounting software and tax software on it. When I'm in "accounting mode" I prefer to be at my desk so I can file stuff as I process it. I don't do any filing from my recliner. The desktop computer was set up with Quicken and Quickbooks long before I started mystery shopping. I briefly tried managing my mystery shopping from that computer but I spend more time in the recliner so it's easier for me to get my shop emails there and manage mystery shopping from the chair.

I have a second laptop that lives in my car and I use it if I have to do reports on the road. I have a portable hotspot through Verizon so I never have to look for a wifi connection on the road. My car has electrical plugs; I plug in my power strip and can power the laptop and mifi and charge my phone all at the same time without leaving my car. That computer does not have my spreadsheet on it nor does it have Quicken on it, nor any tax software.

My problem is I have a lot of irons in a lot of fires and I find it helpful mentally to "change gears" by changing locations between businesses. I don't retrieve shopping email on my desktop computer so I am able to do taxes and accounting work there without being distracted by new messages about bonused shops. I can focus on what I'm doing there, then go back to my recliner and look at shop emails and plan routes.

The problem is my computers won't network with each other properly (it's a 32 bit versus 64 bit thing I believe) so my laptop can see the files on my desktop computer (32 bit) and access them but for some reason the desktop can't access my laptop (64 bit) files. I fought it for awhile and then gave up. If I ever get a 64 bit desktop computer, maybe I'll be able to access the same file from both computers. I probably could share the file through the cloud but I prefer having it resident on my laptop because I can still use it even if the internet goes down (a factor during our thunder and rain season).

I use and have all my shop metrics msps linked to ms job board. I don't mind the site.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
MS JobBoard seems to be the ShopMetrics version of JobSlinger. This is why you found Ritter since they use shopmetrics.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
