Longest Route

A while ago I asked about the longest route. Recently I finished an 11,066 mile route.

Do I win the stuffed toy?

I'm guessing it was a few years old

Longest route, counting only driving distance for me is 75 miles covering 8 shops. So your route was approximately 150 X my longest! That is an amazing (and I'm guessing paniful) route!

Even factoring in reimbursed flights, I'm still nowhere near your route, but I'm sure some here have done hotel "routes" with air travel of over 20,000 miles.
saacman, how many days did that one take you?winking smiley

Oh, I'd say an equivalent number of hours to the number of weeks Rupert spent on his route!
I have done regular 200- 300 mile routes. But even if you added all of those up I don't come close to 11k. I have considered shopping full time on the road as a living.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
My longest routes were 870 miles, and did three days of those in a row, but still far from 11k.
I had 3-4 visits on each of those days.

One could argue I've had a longer route the last time I did shops in the UK as my fligth was covered and I did shops in both airports. But still that would only be a 1622 miles route.

I'm guessing that possibly GypsyMonkey is the only one to come close to this one.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
