How painful are the GFS shops?

I'm doing my first GFS (grocery store) shop tonight. There are 28 pages of instructions, and it seems like a lot of work (asking about certain items, checking 4 sale items, checking expiration dates, keeping track of how many employees come within 10', calling the store the next day, etc).

So, for those of you who have done these shops, is this shop a nightmare? This seems even worse than the TrendSource grocery shop assignments!

I thought it was a piece of cake, we only have one of those stores near here but I love it.

Those are not normally my preferred type of shop, but the pay reimbursement was decent and my curiosity got the better of me. It was easy to stay in the store the required amount of time and the scenario was much easier than expected. The report was not heinous and it was a useful reimbursement. I was shocked at the base pay compared to other assignments from the company. It wasn't listed as being bonused.

Phew! Thanks for easing my mind. I've done Krogers (heinous reports) and Aldi (easy) but this one just sounded like a lot to remember.
I thought it was fairly easy, but, it was my first shop with that MSC and I got dinged by them at least I assume so since shops no longer appear on my available shops section. I thought it was about as easy as the Aldi shop.

They dinged me since I asked if the lasagna could be cooked in a toaster oven or if it had to be cooked in a conventional oven. They told me that the question was too vague for GFS requirements even though the shop guidelines said you could ask a cooking question. They are looking for a question as to price, serving size, number of servings.

I'd do them again, but it doesn't appear that the MSC will give me another chance.
Double check your instructions. I think they changed the call requirement to make it on the same unless you shop the store late in the day, close to closing.

The first time I did one it seemed a bit overwhelming, but they are easy. Keep your question open-ended.

I don't mind these shops and take them on the rare occasions when I can catch a bonus. The report is straightforward and easy.

Yes, I am doing the shop tonight, after work, so I will make the call tomorrow morning.
