If the location lets you in, and to hang all of them can take a good hour. Easy report.
All the locations I've ever done, I am turned away at the door and just need a name and signature.
I've been turned away at all but one location. You first stop in at the management office to introduce yourself. Usually they tell you it's against their policy to allow "door hangers". You get a signature, take a few pictures in front of the building, call the MS company to tell them what happened, and file your report. Indeed, you still get paid.
I just did three assignments over the last few days. Pretty easy. I got access to all the buildings. Hung about 76 pieces in 18 minutes.
It's not. It's considered a merchandising assignment. I've done several and have not been denied, so far. The ones I have done have the outside stairs, so I get a good workout!

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
If you are turned away, you only get partial pay which is nothing compared to the full price of the actual project. I have only been turned away once or twice in the past 2+ years. I have repeat clients which makes it a lot easier. I performed two complexes yesterday, 488 units and 293 units. That will be a good chunk of change. And I lost weight by sweating it out in 95 degree weather and climbing stairs. grinning smiley

A few of these just became available in my area. The closest ones to me pay $15, but there are others that pay $25. They are the same size communities. Why the difference in pay?

Different projects have different pay rates. Refer to the guidelines and the report to see what is necessary for each property.
So, if you hung flyers on 500 doors, how much would they pay you? (want to see if this is worth it) smiling smiley
It should be listed on your paperwork. Every project and every location has different criteria and payment amounts. And after completing the shop, keep detailed records of the payment owed to you since it does vary.

I believe it is $15 to deliver posters and flyers; $25 if door hanging.
