Certain types of shops can slow down so if you primarily shop retail it could be a dry stretch. So many others go on as normal except deadlines are often pushed up. Everyone wants to finish up before the holidays. Sometimes there are special shops during the holiday season. I've had some that were as simple as checking seasonal displays.
Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.
