Someone bought me dinner

I was on a shop at a high end restaurant. I was suppose to spend $80 which I did. When the server brought the bill it was only $13.24. I asked why only the drinks were on the bill and he said the man at the end of the bar paid for my meal. Should this be a problem with the MSC?

Was He Cute?

Shopping Central Jersey Shoreline. WHAT? I'm an adult?! When did this happen?! How do I make it stop?!
why did he not buy your drink as well? Maybe he was expensing it and his company would not pay for drinks? Just curious as a guy about why he would not just buy your entire meal?
I worry about this too. I went to a Pub and a man next to me struck up a conversation and we talked through the hour. I had to do the restroom check and I was concerned that he might have tried to pay my check, while I was in the restroom..

Thankfully, he did not but I worry, what if?

If someone pays the tab, I guess we just get the shop fee?

Or, do they throw the whole thing out?

Or, do they pay you everything, as if you had paid for dinner?

This depends on the MSC how they handle it.

ACL has a check box right on the first page asking if your meal was comped and a box to explain how the service was so bad the manager picked up the whole check.

I love your cute icon shopping cart! How did you get that?
I had a meal comped by the manager at a casual dining place on a shop for Jancyn. The order "got lost" in the computer (that's what the server said) and after waiting 25 minutes for our food, the server had to ask us again what we ordered and re-enter it.

It was a reimbursement only shop so I was not about to do the write up for free. I contacted the scheduler and told her what happened. Since the timings were all messed up by having to essentially order our food twice, I suggested that I'd be willing to do a reshop. So they rescheduled it.
Why don't you ask to re-shop the meal. If granted, then make sure this guy is not there or if he is, tell him, "You covered the meal last time, let me pick it up this time."

If the bartender recognizes you, just ask "if that cute guy is here tonight.'' If he says "he's not", just sound disappointed that you have to eat alone and do your shop. (It might be a come-on to the bartender but...........smiling smiley)

I added the animated .gif to my signature line.

You need to see my "BBCODE test post" in the general section and I explain how to do it.

The board allows BBCODE markup language and it is not promoting it as they want to keep the site from being cluttered with too much razzle dazzle. If the admin wanted that, they could enaible a window that had the tools to automate all sorts of editing abilities that are still there.

PLEASE do not start making signature lines with huge photo's or big animations. If people start doing that, I'm sure you will be chastised. I picked a very small animated .gif that was on topic.

I did a bar shop this summer and my husband had to work, so I went alone. The bartender was making me drinks to "sample" and wouldn't charge me. Luckliy he rang up the first cocktail beofre we started chatting. I walked out of there slightly tipsy, saying to myself, "You still got it" (I am 43, the bartender was about 25)
