I'm interested in how long it takes to count the 25 inventory questions and report the data. I already know how much is involved in making the job folder, putting it on my schedule, and tracking it for payment. This might be more desirable if it were an add on to the basic shop, such as the after dark option not requiring a separate job folder, separate report, and separate payment tracking.

Yes, but they aren't actually added to the audits. What they meant is that you can do them the same time you do the regular audit/shop and you don't have to make a separate trip.

But, what I understand is that there is a 25 item inventory count, a completely separate report, a separate invoice, and therefore entirely separate paperwork and payment tracking on the shopper's part. In other words, two separate jobs you can do on the same trip, like a double dip except for one company. I took a pretty hard look at it because I could have added three of them to three stations I had the scheduled the day they sent out the email. I decided not to pick them up because I thought it would entail more than it would be worth.

Somebody please tell me I'm wrong and show me why.

I actually scheduled two of them and then called the MSC to see about bundling them. Turns out the basic shops at those two locations were already scheduled. There was no way I would do them at $5 each and the scheduler was nice about cancelling them for me. Kind of strange the way they were posted.
I took two that I was able to bundle for next week. I will let you know how it goes. I have a feeling I am going to regret it.
They're not hard at all, much ado about nothing. You count some lights and signs, look around at stuff that you'd normally look at anyway and answer a few questions. Takes maybe another 10 minutes at the location and you're done. No biggie.

I took 8 that are add-ons to existing shops. I'll give them a shot and let you know after I complete them.
I am in the process of signing up for these. I feel like even just signing up and getting approved is a lot of work for $5.00. My scheduler didn't want to cancel my bank shops that I was auto assigned and not have me left with nothing. I really didn't want to do the bank shops. It was a lot of work for only $9.50. I am curious to see how the audits are and can't wait to hear your news!
With this msp wait for the bonuses or call for incentives.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
The $5 pay might be acceptable when one is doing that particular station or it is on the route and not diverted. However, even with gasoline as low as it is, to me, it is not worthwhile to drive about doing these shops.

At least not until they add incentives.
I went ahead and added the inventory jobs to my existing audits. I don't think it's going to be a lot of additional work. I certainly wouldn't drive around and do them on their own.
