just distracted...

I go into a bank to do an investment inquiry and everything is going great. Teller hair color, wearing what and a way too matchy tie (red plaid on red plaid, please I am blind). I then go on over to the lobby greeter and have her flouncy personality memorized. I have the entire layout memorized. The names of associates are on the tip of my memory. The shop is going great and flawless. Then I see the Adviser and my brain freezes. I mean teenage school girl freezes. Form fitting suit with obvious well built physique, 6'7" of pure brawn, sun-lightened well trimmed beard and curled handled bar mustache. He even had the callused hands of a carpenter. His strong bass voice and firm hand shake had me trying to remember why the bloody heck I was there. I had to keep trying to look away for fear of breaking character.
My character was suppose to be married. with a teenage son about to go off to collage and a two year old daughter about to go into preschool.
I looked around the desk. Are ya kidding me?! You like the same candy and colors as me! I began looking at the mountain scene of him on some hike. That of course did not help my focus.
Finally I saw his tan line on the ring finger and focused on that. I kept saying to myself that he was off the market and I am leaving the area in 2 days. Sometimes this job can be so difficult!

Just lost trying to find a fire pit in a concrete jungle wishing it was a wooded glen...

if it wasn't for bad luck, I would have no luck at all

Oh no! A love-struck shopper...Think straight girl. Is that a heavily bonused shop or just one of those $15 shops?
If he's divorced, his wife has already taken him to the cleaners. Not worth it to sacrifice the shop. winking smiley
not love struck, just internally drooling - sorta

Thanks for the laugh. I had one similar. I was doing an apartment shop and the Leasing Agent and I were leaving one apartment to go and see another on the top floor. Very high end and exquisite. A guy comes along with his dog. I love dogs and cats, and so does the agent who was just telling me about her dog. The guy was wearing a perfectly fit Armani suit, dressed to the nines, and his dog had just been groomed, some kind of large Schnauzer. I do not really ever pay attention to that breed, I have labs and golden retrievers, but this dog was absolutely stunning, with his shiney coat, and sweet, not high strung. They both looked like they were off to a photo shoot. They guy had me pet his dog and kept talking and I was dying. When I told him they should have a photo taken, since they both looked handsome and masculine together (could not believe I said that), the man was very humble and said that was a kind comment. Gah. Then he showed me some pictures in his phone of the dog before he was groomed. I finally asked if I could take a picture of them, (because they were that good looking!). We left to go and view another apartment and he asked if I was leasing, as I walked away, saying it was a great place to live, (oh, I know it is, I just saw you), and I just made a comment about thinking about it and kept walking. The agent proceeds to tell me she has an incredible crush on this guy, but she is married. I tried to play it cool and agree that he was nice looking, etc., trying to keep my shop going, but I was distracted and had to try hard to remember everything, because now, I only had the suit, physique, dog, etc., memorized. I totally understand.
