Auditor vs Secret Shopper

I'm trying to decide if I want to sign up for In Touch gas station revealed audits. The guidelines specifically state that you may not mystery shop the locations, even if it's for another company. Since I'll be limiting my options if I'm auditing, is it worth it or should I pass?

While I've done my share of gas station audits and mystery shops, I don't think I've done any for In Touch. I enjoy audits slightly more than mystery shops, but that may be because I do more overall mystery shops, so it's a change of pace. Which one will give you more work/money for those stations across the board considering all MSCs who may have them? That would be my deciding factor.

That's the thing. Even though I've registered with about 90 companies I haven't come across the gas chain as a mystery shop, so I don't know how much work or money that would be.

In my area they offer the same brand as tobacco shops. That's probably what they mean. It's not as though they have any way of knowing if you're working for another MSC anyway.

TNS does gasoline reveal shops. $15 pay, but you have to spend $5 on gas and an item from the store. With all the pictures requested it wasn't worth the hassle to me.

Since you don't do gas station mystery shops, what is the dilemma?

Intouch Insight is a great company and is associated with GSC, which is another great company. The latter does BVs and pharmaceutical audits. From my experience the fees are great and the payments are quick. What's not to like? I say, enjoy!

YOU would know. If that's the agreement that you make to do the audits, then so be it. If you can negotiate a different agreement that allows for mystery shopping (although I don't know why you would while you're actively doing revealed audits), then go for it.

Is TSN only in the UK?

the intouch shops are a one time thing for a research company. So think about
that before taking them.
