My 'fun, easy' shop is 17 pages of guidelines!

YIKES! So many things to remember to do and questions to ask! Think it will be obvious if I write notes on my hand and down my arms? tongue sticking out smiley

I have three of these for tomorrow and all are different senarios!

Reading is fun and easy. So they're aptly named.

There are reasons that a body stays in motion
At the moment only demons come to mind
You have discovered why the words "fun" and "easy" are usually, but not always, code words for the exact opposite. Often the scheduler has trouble filling those shops for whatever reason - usually low pay for the work involved. Take note of the company and scheduler that used those terms and learn from the experience.

When you find a company and scheduler that uses those terms correctly, you have found a gem.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
you must be NEW that you got sucked in to that.....experience tells you that those words immediately mean nobody else will do these horrid shops....
I am fairly new...started about a year ago, but got busy and am starting to pick it up again.

It is a cell phone shop. I now know to run screaming from 'easy' shops. ;P
Yeah, I never do 'fun and easy' shops. I have to admit I'm a sucker for the 'simple and straightforward' shops though.

If the shop is a really good one, there will not be an email sent as it will be snapped up.

Unless your a great shopper for the MSC and the scheduler sent you a personal email offering you a job ahead of posting it on the board or as a flake request, emails are mostly jobs that are hard to fill for a reason.

You have to check the job boards often to see the really good jobs. Don't blink, they will be gone before you can hit refresh on the browser.

I agree fun and easy are bad news. Also, watch out for yummy.

Fun and easy are key words for my 10 foot pole list.

Motivation increases when we assume large responsibilities with a short deadline.
With them, it takes being tricked into doing one or two. Then you learn that the short report turns into a monstrously long one no matter what answer you select.
