Day & Night

I really need to expand my shopping horizons!

I complained here about a GFK shop I did--conflicting instructions, ambiguous questions, questionnaire poorly conceptualized and badly written, etc. Well, this week I had a shop with Second to None--what a difference! The shop paid $2 less, but what a world of difference! Clear instructions, straightforward questionnaire, etc. I spent less than half the time on the shop, even though my in-store time was double. There was one problem with the questionnaire (it had the store listed as the wrong type of store, and wouldn't allow answers based on the type of store it really is), but I e-mailed the scheduler immediately after submitting the shop, and she got back to me right away, and said they'd look into it.

The GFK shop is taking days to get reviewed, while the STN shop, done days after that one, is reviewed, accepted, and pending payment. Wow!

I need to get signed up with a LOT more companies, it seems!

There do seem to be a lot of those these days! I think I'm going to take a break from them. Their shops are just too much work for the money (but wouldn't necessarily be so if they'd just re-write their guidelines, instructions, and questionnaires. With more logical, linear reasoning. With statements that say what they mean, not say the opposite of what they mean. And in a language resembling grammatically correct English).
