Ruth Chris Shop Question

I was assigned a Ruth Chris shop while on vacation and didn't look at the guidelines until today, the day of the shop. In bold and underlined it says if you have not done one before, you must call M-F before going, but today is Saturday. I can't figure out what to do, do I not do the shop and get a black mark or do the shop and possibly be out the $200 in reimbursement. I know it was a dumb thing to do when I waited to look at the guidelines, but I'm at a loss of what to do. I emailed the scheduler, but don't expect to hear from her.

The intention for the call is to make sure you understand the guidelines. If you miss a gudeline and did not call in, they have grounds to refuse your shop. I do not think they would refuse your shop if you followed ALL of the guidelines.

If you complete the shop, I would make sure ALL of my i's are dotted and my t's are crossed. I would also make sure to call them FIRST thing on Monday when they open to explain why you did not call.
I would call them today and leave a voice mail with the MSC. I would also email the scheduler and briefly notify them. I agree with audrailyn30. Keep your email that you sent. I think you should do the shop and be sure you know the Guidelines. Don't tell them you didn't read the guidelines, because you did. You just didn't realize the call was only Mon to Fri and leave it at that. Does the scheduler or the MSC know that you are reliable, if so you should not have a problem. Some companies are very forgiving.
I would think that would be okay as long as you follow all of the guidelines properly. If it's the MSC I am thinking of, however, they usually want you to make your reservation phone call on a different day than your visit.
For Ruth Chris, I was able to make the reservation on the same day, but the other fine dining shop, that is a negative.
I called by chance to see if someone was in the office. The recorded message told me to go ahead and do the shop. I emailed the scheduler (twice!) apologized and informed her of what I intended to do. And I took extensive notes of everything that needs to be hit. Thanks for all the replies!
