Taking photos?

Apologies if this topic has already been visited. I have not done any shops yet, but I will in the near future. If I am required to take a photo of a business, how do I do that without outing myself?

It really depends on how extensive the photo requirements are.
If it's just the front of the building, I can usually do this in my car. I'll try to find a parking spot where I can face the front of the building and shoot the photo. Considering all the things people do in their cars, a photo is nothing unusual.
In truth, with cell phone use these days, taking photos of anything doesn't look out of place. Just act natural and you likely won't draw suspicion.
I still have a flip phone so use my digital camera for all required photos. Its small and fits into my pocket. tore fronts are best taken depending on the place after the shop as they can't do anything. Coverts inside can be tricky but I have gotten very good at being covert taking pics. My easiest are pics inside bestbuy or walmart as you almost have to seek out assistance so being noticed taking picture or two would be rare.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
I often bring my iPad on the shop with me, especially if it's a food shop. The case allows it to stand up on the table. I can watch something on YouTube when a crew member comes around, and then briefly go to camera mode to take my picture, then back to YouTube.

In 2016, much of society is glued to their cellphones. Do not even worry for a second about any required picture, ever, that you take with your phone. Act like you are texting for about 30 seconds before you take the pic. Line up the pic, snap it, and then act like you are texting for another 30 seconds or so.
For a lot of pictures you can just hide in plain sight. I really do take pictures of tags if I want to remember the item and price. I don't post to Instagram or Yelp but often take photos of meals to send to text to friends. I take pictures of furniture, accessories and even items of clothing I might be interested in later or that I want to show to a friend. The only time I aim for discretion is a store front by waiting until after the shop unless the guidelines specify otherwise.
