Can someone tell me how bill.com works

I just signed up for it because apparently I have to if I want to get paid for my BBB shop. Will the money automatically be deposited into the checking account I gave them? I found the whole process confusing and I would never had known I needed to do it if I had not looked to see if the company had issued payments.

I did the shop late December. They prepared the statement a few days ago, and from what I can tell I will actually receive the money the end of February. Does this sound accurate?

There are two MSCs that use Bill.com to process their directs deposits. You only need to sign up with Bill.com once (that's your account). A few days prior to the money hitting your account, Bill.com will send you an email letting you know who paid you.

Once you have your account set up, you never need to go back on their site unless something on your end changes.

That sounds right for the BBB MSC.

When I sign up to get paid by them, I don't get charged a fee, do I? I tried to do some advance scouting there, but they had fees to set up an account.
The fees were for the professional accounts. For the basic accounts, they are free. That's all you need for the direct deposit.

If I remember I signed up with Bill.com through the MSC. They would be willing to help you. There is no fee on our end. I think ATH has this system.
When I signed up today, it asked if I was a business and did not give me the option to select otherwise. I put my name as my business name and my account info in. It asked which version I wanted and offered free trials. I selected that I was sent there by a company for payment for the free account but it says "for one company for a one time payment" so perhaps I set something else wrong. I dunno. I was frustrated at the end and am thinking about selecting paper check until I get it sorted out. I did email the help desk, though.

clinen, I just went to the website. It's different from when I signed up. Ask your MSC if they can walk you though the process. It's free for individuals to receive money.
