Wireless Company - AUDIT - Worth it??

I've only been MS for a few months now on a very part time basis. Have yet to do a Wireless company - picture audit. I'm REALleery on these picture audit assignments now as I have done a few gas station audits and realized those were a JOKE! WAAAY too much expected of you for the meager shop fee.

What is the consensus on Wireless company merchandising audits??

I think the ones I did required three pictures and was pretty straight forward. One store however was an absolute pig sty and I took about 5 extra pictures to prove my written points. Additionally, the brand I representing certainly needed to see the terrible way their brand was being represented. Overall, there a snap 3 pics, some questions and out you go.
Thanks for your input. I'm always game to try it once, then decide if I will ever be willing to do it again.

Gas station picture audits are OUT for me. Never again.

Thanks again. I'll try it and see what happens. Store is right down the street from me so don't really have much to lose, I hope.
It really depends a great deal on the company offering it. I did one for MFI that was just an awful waste of time checking dates on brochures, taking a large number of photos and even when bonused was for less than I normally would leave the driveway--especially for an urgent orphan shop. I only did it once, but that was enough.
I noticed one shop offer where they want you to actually take pictures inside the store, which could be a problem if you are noticed by an employee or even a manager. I am willing to take an outside picture, but don't want to have a problem inside a store.
When it is an actual audit, most of the time there is a preliminary song and dance and then you reveal. Mine was one of those.
I've done a lot of these. They were pretty easy. They were a shop and reveal.

I've done 30+ at a major carrier's stores and found them really easy after the first one was under my belt. I consider it easy money to do a route of them. Like BlessYa is with her gas staton shops, I am with these.

I developed a work flow for the photos and knocked them out quickly at the stores. I took them in the order in which they were wanted on the reports, then renamed them in batches by assignment ID. Some shoppers report they've never in a couple years renamed files and never had a hiccup from three MSC, but I like to do so for my records.
By the way, here is a tip for the shots required of the front and back of a product brochure. Just take two of the brochures and align them side by side on the counter so the front and back show next to each other. This way, you only need to take a single photo per brochure, which you can later crop and save-as for each required image. smiling smiley
