BestMark's policy on exchanging an Item

I did a shop for BestMark and realized that I bought the wrong dang thing. The thing cost 35$ and the shop pay is only $11.50, but I actually needed the stinking thing. Anyway, got home and realized I bought the wrong one. I know some companies don't allow you to return/exchange something that you purchased during a shop. They are closed right now, otherwise I would call them. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this.

Thanks!

To me there is a big difference between a purchase and an exchange and the reimbursement was only $1.50. A reimbursement is just that, additional money you got for a purchase. It sounds like whatever you need will be much more than that $1.50.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

They changed the shops too. It's no longer 10.00 pay and 1.50 reimbursement. It's 11.50 pay, but you still need to buy something. I've just heard posts on here about other companies where you couldn't do it. Although, if I do it, and I shouldn't have, and BestMark decides to reject my shop or not let me shop for them again, I can't say that I'll be heartbroken. LOL.
If the Shop pay doesn't include the reimbursement amount, I don't see how the company can expect you to keep it. I would think that by keeping your receipts from the exchange and demonstrating that you returned and bought something else you should be OK. However, we all know that what makes sense and mystery shopping to not always go hand-in-hand.
