I have just completed 2 shops for them - both restaurants.
They called me offerng the shops and then gave me a choice of dates. I had to change one of the dates and they were very accommodating with that as it was still 'shopped' within the time period required.

So just need to see how their reimbursement/payment process goes
Did I have to pay them to join? No.

I was registered with them for 2 months before I go a call. They said they were looking for new shoppers in my area
I have done a few shops for satisfaction services, they pay on time and the reports are fairly easy. The only thing that I wish was that they would do more shops in my area. They are a good company and the pay is good, I take shops from them every 2 or 3 months.

Judi, how did you get away without paying for Satisfaction Service? They send me emails all the time about jobs, then when I go to registration page, they say membership costs $9.99 a yr. My question, is it worth that amount of money?

The fee is optional, and the people helpful. But this is one of those companies that doesn't have a board; they call you. So if you can get started and be on their lists, you will get called.
They aren't worth getting terribly excited about. They have average jobs at average pay. I have not paid for their "best shopper" services or whatever it is but it sounds as though the jobs I was offered were no better nor worse than what other folks who had paid were offered. I rarely accept offers from them so the calls are becoming less often. I found nothing exceptionally good to be willing to take the exceptionally mediocre to stay in their good graces.
Where other companies pay $2 for phone call shops, they pay $5. I have worked for them for a while, and they have always been easy to deal with and has comparable shops. And the fact that they call you, puts you on a short list once they have your number.
I have done several shops for them in my area. I have enjoyed the shops and they pay better than most shops in my area. I have found the schedulers to be very polite and helpful. I have had to reschedule a shop due to bad weather and they were very good about it. I did the shop the following day. Most of my shops have been car dealerships or car maintenance shops. I did not pay the fee and was assigned four shops in one month. They wanted me to do more but I was already maxed out with other shops that month.
I have worked for them for years but they're not one of my favorites. Mostly because they are old-fashioned - no self-scheduled shops; not even a board to see what's available. You have to wait for their call or an email that says there's a shop available in your area and then CALL THEM! I find it all rather irritating. Then to top it off - their forms take forever to fill out - tons of detail - and THEY ALWAYS call and send an email requiring EVEN MORE DETAIL! It's frustrating. Even if it looks like they pay better than most - by the time all is said and done, it's an average job with average pay and they really need to become part of the 21st century!
I did my first shopping about 2 weeks ago, for a chain bakery resturant for "sat-services."

It took me over 3 hours and at least 2 rewrites of my report and they would not accept it because it was not "detailed" enough. Regardless of how much detail I submitted on my report, it was never enough. They called and harassed me at home and my email address. I wrote the report 2x and each time took me about 2 hours to write up.

At the rate of $10. for the shopping, this becomes less then $3.00 an hour for my personal time and efforts. My first interview stated that I would be reimbursed a total of $12.00, but after my first "corrected" report, I was told I would only be reimbursed $10.00

I wrote them back stating that I do not work for less then mininum wages, and that I will not do any more work for them, nor would I recommend their method of "Mystery Shopping" to anyone.

I was able to keep a copy of my first "corrected" report copy, and am considering bring this document directly to the management at my local chain bakery resturant . This will allow management understand that they might be getting scammed and fraud from "so called customers", aka Mystery Shoppers.

Take this for what its worth

Unhappy and disappointed

Sorry you had a bad experience. I enjoy their assignments.

Please edit your post, and remove the name of the client. It violates your ICA. Also though, this forum's guidelines state "Do not reveal the clients of mystery shopping companies".
You don't have to pay them; that's an option. I shop for them and I don't pay. I

My EASIEST - best paying shop was for Satisfaction Serives. $30 just to approach a non-profit drop off trailer, donate a small item and offer the guy money for one of the items. Simple report - he passed!
It's an easy report as long at the employee does the right thing. If you are able to entice the employee to sell you the item and they take the cash, it isn't as simple. I pass on those. After the employee is fired for stealing, you may be required to testify.
Daveinlite, you need to edit your comment you are not allowed to mane the MSC and the Client in any post. This is a breech of you IC rukes you signed.

I dont know why there is a problem addressing the name of the MSC, when there at least 23x that the MSC is mentioned by full name, to include the name of this continual thread.
A shopper's ICA prohibits revealing who the MSP represents. This forum's posting guidelines: "Do not reveal the clients of mystery shopping companies" is another reason. It's a personal decision that is indicative of respect and scruples.
I enjoy their car wash shops. They have regular washes and also detailing. The jobs are a lot of work for minimal pay, but I like my shiny car so it is worth it. I too wish that they have a more modern job board. I also haven't gotten an email from their scheduler in a couple months for wing shops, so I don't know if they weren't happy with my last report or what.
I had a bad experience with the one in Flordia. I do not do their shops any more, The pay is not great.
