HDE

Does anyone have an opinion of HDE? I'm having a hard time getting them to pay me. They still owe me for January and February shops (as well as some later ones).

I just read this and found out about this forum. I recently did a job for them beginning of December and I cannot get paid or even get a response from the scheduler.

Linda, is this the same as the other company you were asking about? You may want to check the website FAQs or your independent contractor agreement to find out their terms. Some companies don't pay for 60 to 90 days which would mean shops in December would not be due for payment until later this month or March.

Yes. There was nothing on the FAQ about it, but as we speak, I just got an Email and the money is being transferred to my account. I was ripped off by the old company doing <casual dining shop>. They lost the account and didn't pay the last few shops. The new secure shop company that has gotten the account pays so now I am skeptical and watch for my pay not being as trusting as in the past. Thank you for answering.

I had to chase pay twice. File a complaint with the bbb. Doug dunlap is owner according to Linked in Try embarrassing him on Facebook or linked in.(ask for your money) He deserves it.
I work with HDE on occasion. They usually need a reminder (or a few) before they pay. The last couple payments arrived without reminders. I can deal with this for the very few, low investment shops that I do. I wouldn't put out much of my own money, though or have more than a couple outstanding shops with a company that doesn't pay regularly.
I have had the same experience with HDE (Hilli-Dunlap Enterprises) payments, and usually have to prompt my account rep to get things moving. That said, he has always been very responsive in making it happen quickly--until now. I have not been paid for my October or November shops and have sent two emails over the past two weeks, with no response. Is anyone else having issues?

The harder I work, the luckier I get.
I always have trouble but when I notify my scheduler I usually get results immediately. I usually wait a couple of months before I say anything as my jobs are low fees and do not have many at a time to receive payment.
That's their business plan by the way (as told to me by one of their employees): only pay shoppers after they inquire about payment. It really boosts the profits.

I actually had to resort to dropping the f bomb on the owner and ultimately got paid within minutes. This whole company is disgusting.
