Amusement Advantage Job Postings

Ok their website says they release shops on the Friday closest to the 20th. I don't do this on a monthly basis, but when I am looking for shops from them I often check back around that time. I haven't seen assignments from them since 2010, yet they often post on Jobslinger. I don't just check my area, I check all states. There is never anything on their job board and they have never sent an email unless it was in regards to my profile being updated. Do they even have assignments anymore?

When I registered for AA three years ago, they never seen to have any shop within 100 miles from me. I usually had to travel to pick up shops, so they were vacation fillers. Now within the past six months they have been looking for some spare time shoppers. Pick up pins are very much located in farm towns. Now it seems like every alley shop is being offered by AA, near me. It just might mean a matter of time b4 they show up in your neck of the woods, if AA is able to strike a deal with the retail client. smiling smileygrinning smiley

AA still offers the parks, Harbour Marine species, and BID shops but picking up these types of shops are at least a two or three pro shops.

Did you like my play on words? grinning smileyconfused smileyconfused smileygrinning smileygrinning smiley Those are the shops AA is emailing about.smiling smileysmiling smileysmiling smiley

Absolutely! Although I don't know about locations nationwide, in the past 5 years they have had several consistent clients in and around Boston MA. As for emails, I have noticed the frequency seems to wane and wax with with the frequency I log on to their site. And in the past week, I have noticed a spike in emails after a very well received report was graded. This suggests to me they do a bit of cherry-picking regarding who gets emails. But, perhaps your area has fewer shops.

Where are you 110mama?

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
Scot (owner) and Jen (the scheduler for my area and the one who seems to post the jobs on the other site) are both very approachable and helpful. I have my page set to see the entire state as these jobs are more about individual places than huge numbers of outlet places so looking at the whole state of jobs is very easy. California has around 25-30 jobs every month. Call them or email and ask what jobs they have in your neck of the woods. I am sure they would be happy to chat with you and even enlighten you if some of the jobs are only on some months.
It seems like both AA and KSS is emailing or sending out notifications of shops. I just need to find a co-shop-itute.grinning smileygrinning smiley
Yea I worked for them, but not often. They have a rotation period that is 5 months. So I almost never check their website. I used to do an amusement job for Market Force every month, now AA stole that contract and it comes down to once every 5 months. Now I use AA only when I want to take my family out for a nice summer vacation. I do not consider them when I schedule my job routes.

I think they typically post new assignments the second Friday of each month.
