Corporate Research Auditor rating system

Can someone please help me understand the basis of Corporate research auditor rating system

When I registered I was started with a rating of 3. I did one shop and went to 4. After that I completed three shops but only got promoted to 4.3. I recently completed three more shops. I just received confirmation that these shops, like all the others got the maximum amount of points from the editors. I thought to myself "Now my rating should be through the roof." Low and behold, I am still at sub 5. 4.7 to be exact. What's up with that?

They do some strange form of averaging, not all of which is obvious to the shopper. 5 is the top of their scale, so unlike with the SASSIE system, you will never see a 10 or anywhere close to it. A 4.7 with CoRI is perfectly respectable so don't waste a lot of time worrying about it smiling smiley

In the long run any rating system is more an indicator of your reliability and ability to properly perform a job. And while we all were accutely aware of our classroom grade and GPA in school, the rating systems tend to be more arbitrary. But obviously if you are doing good work for a company they will try to keep using you when possible.
