How do you get paid by Maritz?

No, no worries, I haven't had a problem with them. I just noticed the 'submit invoice' link on the website, and wonder if I really need to use it. (All the other companies I've done work for, so far, just go ahead and pay you once they've approved your report!)

Yup. Time to worry. You will not get paid until you submit an invoice for each shop...

Ishmael, I have had to get in the habit of religiously submitting the invoice immediately after I submit the shop. Maritz does not notify you of a missing invoice and no invoice = no pay.

No invoice = no pay. But if you catch it within a reasonable amount of time and call the ladies in payroll, they will kindly take care of it for you. Even if it is 22 shops (don't ask!!!)

So the criteria is "a reasonable amount of time", not a "reasonable amount of shops", huh? LOL

Okay, I will admit to talking to "the nice ladies in payroll", but "the nice lady" made me feel guilty over 3 or 4 non-invoiced shops. SAM, you must be quite the charmer! :-)

With Maritz you must submit an invoice within 14 days of shop completion or you're SOL. It's no big deal to spend a couple minutes and just do the invoice as soon as you're done inputting the shop reports.

Definitely not a big deal, once you realize that you need to. As I'd said, the companies I've worked for up till now don't need to, so it wasn't something I looked for.
