Maritz Invoices

I did my first hardware shop with them today. I was surprised to see that it was exactly like the one with the old MSC. Anyways, when submitting the invoice, I entered the receipt amount instead of just $1.00. So, then I saw that the invoice total was more than I will actually get. I wanted to fix it but evidently you can't do that and it had already went through. I emailed the project coordinator but thought I'd check on here for feedback while I'm waiting. Do you think I'll have to resubmit the invoice or will they just let it go. Thanks!

I think they will let it go through. I entered one for $600.00 instead of $6.00 one time. When I called them, I was told not to worry, they checked them all anyway and corrected them.
That's okay. I always enter the receipt amount, which makes the invoice total higher than I will be paid. I was concerned that entering a different amount than the amount on the receipt that I attached to the invoice would not be acceptable. They will pay you only the amount they agreed to. I've been performing shops with them and doing this since 2008, and I have never had a problem by doing this.
I've been entering either the amount on the receipt, or the amount that they reimburse, whichever is lower. It's early days yet, but so far, so good. It might be interesting to ask and see which they prefer.
It also works in the reverse...I accidentally cheated myself out of $5 for about 4 or 5 shops & Maritz caught it. I was paid the $5 on each.
I too enter the exact amount since it says recipt total. They only pay the $1.00. So far, no issues.
I enter the amount actually spent and there hasn't been a problem with them ever.

In my experiences, they pay you what you are do no matter what. If you submit less on the invoice than you should get (and have receipts uploaded to show) the adjust up. If you submit more on the invoice than you should get, the adjust down. IF you are missing a receipt from, say, the inside part of the shop but not the gas part, they'll pay you everything except the inside reimbursement amount. (Speaking from experience now twice, darn it, losing that inside receipt)
