"PLEASE, PLEASE HELP US...WE DESPERATELY NEED YOUR HELP", etc.

I had an msc call me desperately needing someone to do an eyewear shop. It pays $10. It needs to be done in the next 2 days. I asked about a bonys. $2!!! Wow! I declined.

That one and the Best Buy audits.... good grief... hourly posts....

I deactivated my email notifications for the company with the Best Buy audits, thinking that would alleviate the problem.

Nope. Still getting all of the "Let's get you qualified TODAY!" messages. T_T

I'm kind of tempted to just do it and get it over with, but I'm pretty sure I'm ineligible for the project considering I have a close relative that works for the local store. Plus then I'd probably have the added "Hey, you did this one for me before.... help a scheduler out!" emails. lol
I work in addition to my mystery shopping. I cannot drop everything to do a last minute shop either.
Here I go complaining about MF and their grocery shops again: I called the offshore number, you know the people who call you all hours of the day on the weekend because they NEED. ASSIGNMENTS. DONE. NOW. I got one of the schedulers and told them I could do two grocery shops TODAY (Friday) as I know you will be calling me about them this weekend. I let the scheduler know I would NOT be available Saturday or Sunday. I then asked for a whopping $10.00 for each shop.

Their answer?"We are not scheduling (name of grocery chain) shops now, but we have a FF shop that needs to be done. I told her there were no FF shops in my immediate area that need to be filled. She gave me a location not too far away. Although I swore I would take no more FF shops, the bonus convinced me. Besides, they are so easy to do.

Saturday morning rolls around and I am getting ready to go to work and who calls but MF offshore schedulers. "We have a shop for you," yada yada yada. Of course it is the same grocery store assignment I asked for the day before...suddenly it appears.
Perhaps, the REASONS WHY THERE ARE BAD SCHEDULERS ARE:

1. They don't like their Jobs;

2. Which they should leave but can't for one reason or another;

3. Or, They have themselves STUCK in a dead end job & no way out.

Just some feedback from someone that hasn't even started in this business of Mystery Shopping.

I feel for the Mystery Shoppers out there that have to deal with these "Bad Apple" Schedulers!!

Thank You for hearing me out.

Lynn
I got yet another exam exam third company. Oh just take this "little" exam and then accept the shop.
The shop was $10. No thanks. Sorry but sitting through an eye exam if I do not need a script is just not worth my time.
Yes, stupid food shops are like that, where you have to buy something and not get reimbursed more that $1.

That sounds like a menu board shop!
I constantly get emails to do a specific oil change shop. The reimbursed amt plus the fee does not even cover the cost of the oil change with a great coupon. I started getting emails for the same location I did after only one month. Never has a bonus been offered even when it is the last day of the month. Why do they think I want to be out of pocket $20 and sit around waiting for the oil to be changed over and over again on my car? After doing 1 of these it is no wonder they cannot fill this job. My compact car needed more oil than the advertised price for the oil change so I had to pay top dollar for an extra quart! And the extra fee for synthetic oil they said I must use was the extra out of pocket expense.
Strategic Reflections is terrible about bonuses. They have no problem sending several emails a day and calling twice a day. They beg and plead for help, stating that "this is the very last day." Their emails state "BONUS" but never states how much of a bonus. I called and was told it was a $3 bonus on a food shop that only pays $5 plus a small food reimbursement.

Nope!
I got tricked by Sentry. They called and told me now offering $12 for the shops. Also, the form is shorter. A whopping $6 for the shop and $6 reimbursement. They dropped one question. Called me several weeks later and asked me to do another. I told them fool me once shame on you fool me twice I do not think so. keepin it PG
