Got an e-mail from them, Googled the name, nothing comes up. I am truly reluctant to click on a link on an e-mail when I can't verify the company.

The e-mail says they are out of Rockford, MI.

Pretty professional, except for a few oops -- like, "Beacon will source and email you work base on...".

Anybody heard of them?

I got the same email. I went to their site, which referred me to a youtube video and explained how they filter jobs for you. It required a free membership. I didn't sign up with them.

I did. The site didn't require any sensitive info like SS# and such. I think it's legit. The website was intuitive and very professional, in my opinion. After signing up I received an email asking me to confirm my email address that also seemed pretty sophisticated.

The site is legit, and I believe will mainly be dealing with merchandising work. Have any of you worked with "Joy Ventures?" I did several children's books resets in CVS over a few years with them, and the pay was very fair and quick. Well, Joy Ventures is no longer in existence, and the main gal who set up the work through Joy Ventures has set up a new company, Beacon Retail. There were several of us who had done work for Joy Ventures, who got emails back a few months ago, and were invited to test their new web site. They really are legit, but I'm not sure how much MS they will be offering. I know they will be offering merchandising work. I'm already signed up with them. Hope this info helps!

The website has information including the states/cities currently supported. Looks like merchandising and some type of related support where we supply on call support. Looks like eventually there will be a fee to retain platinum status.

I signed up with them, since they had a lot of locations around me listed.
If you do the sign up, it does have a block at the very end of the process to check if you are a Military Veteran. It indicates that if you are, you will have lifetime Platinum staus.

I got that email too, and I signed up. They didn't ask for anything that I wouldn't tell just about anyone, so I guess we'll see if I get income from it.
