franchise compliance

Anyone out there do a job for Franchise Compliance and not get paid? looking to join forces if you are one of the unlucky ones that did a job for them and never got paid. I have confirmed with Chem Dry that they in fact paid the company for my job. That means they have our money!
I have been doing mystery shopping for 10 years with over 60 companies in my data base. this is the first time I have been "taken". Of course it is for a $200 shop too.

I spoke with an Ed Mcquinan...615-806-1077 . He has a list of people that have not been paid by francise compliance. He said that Chem dry has dropped this company. However, he made a committment to advocate for us. I want to believe him but time will tell. He said if after several months he does not get a check for us he will give us advice on how to join forces. He confirmed that they have paid this company for the job. that means they have the money.

I completed an assignment in April for $225.00 and I have not gotten paid as of today. I am just keeping hope alive.
seems like many of us who did shops in April have not been paid. I have $194 that is owed for that month too. I am beginning to loose hope on getting the money back. I can't make out who is legitamate, who is telling me the truth, and who is connected to who. First time I have been "scammed" in 10 years of mystery shopping and over 50 companies in my database that I work with. I wish it had been on the $10 mcdonald type shops and not this amount of money.
At this point it is time to give up hope. There was a time when people were still getting paid, but I don't recall hearing of it in a long, long time.

I did this shop too and am out over $175. So disappointed. I tried to follow up with "Kami" a hundred times and just left that Ed Mcquinan a message as well. Something should be done!!!

Can someone who has been in contact with this Ed guy let me know more information. I cannot find anything other than this post on Google. I don't want to waste my time calling someone who isn't a legitimate lawyer.
Has anyone been successful in a small claims court against Franchise Compliance? They owe me over $300.00 and I am not sure how to get started. It has been to long to fight it with the credit card company.
I did a job for them in 2008 and it took a few months to get paid so when it was taking the same in 2012, I was not that concerned until it became this long and I found all of your complaints as well.

I did the job April 2nd and am owed $221.33! I did leave a voice mail for the name on this forum, so thanks for that.

This is a lot of money to not be paid. My family would NOT have spent this kind of money in this manner without expecting to be reimbursed for it, so we hope there is going to be some action.

BTW,I am a professional woman who has done various "shops" and audits for over 10 years. I believe strongly in the ethics of what we do. This is the first time that I have not been paid. It is also one of the more expensive jobs in the shopping realm. I am sure that we need to get together and follow up if Ed cannot help us. I am willing to give this a little more time, but then I will get more aggressive especially knowing that the company was paid for OUR WORK. We deserve to get paid for our work as well!!!

Perhaps the people in this forum that did not get paid will need to work together if Ed cannot help us. Thank you.

Is this still going on? I also did a shop in April and got nothing for it. I'd like to join. Anyone still out there.
I am still waiting for someone to respond. I am not giving up. You probably will hear nothing now until January. Let's regroup then. Happy holidays to all!
I am not giving up either....i was just asked about 4 weeks ago to submit all the documentation on this job to harris....sounds like there are still working on it....
My impression is that Franchise Compliance no longer exists. The rumor is that the owner of Franchise Compliance opened a new company. I don't remember what the name of the new company is.

I was one of the many that never got paid for a shop in December 2011. Over the past year, I've contacted consumer rights groups, the DA in Utah, and others to no avail. There was a very "interesting" character who was a scheduler for Franchise Compliance who used to come on here and post bizarre posts to members who weren't paid. Eventually, even she disappeared.

From what I've surmised, the only option is to file in Small Claims Court; however, since the company no longer exists the chances of getting anything seem slim. sad smiley I've given up. It's sad, but I'm sure karma will catch up to those that scammed so many of us.
For shins and grins, take them to small claims court! Have all your ducks in a row. DO send them a demand for payment email. Then complain to the state licensing boad and everyone that they are licensed by, even the local business license people.

Love everyone! Don't give no crap, and sure as h#ll, don't take any. Who does not get bothered, the sweet bunny, or the rattler smiling smiley.

I am still owed 221.33 by Franchise Compliance from a [client] shop April 4, 2012. I have the screen shot, the delivery confirmation from the sample sent to Utah and some emails from them about the shop...even got a 10 and compliments, but would really like the money! Does anyone have any ideas? I know that [client] paid them!
ohhhh....glad I found this forum! I am also owed $225 from them. There is a blog out there...[franchisecompliance.blogspot.com] that has some additional info on Adam. I had spoken to the Chem-Dry guy a while back, but there wasn't much he could do to help. Tried the BBB and the Utah Labor Board, but since I am in FL and the business was in UT, they couldn't help me. They suggested small claims since FL doesn't have a labor board. I actually sent a letter with that blog link and my situation to his wife, Kelly. That was back in December. Just a few weeks ago after doing some more checking up on Adam, I discovered that they had divorced 5 or so years ago. I figured he got the letter and trashed it. But whaddya know....I received an email from Kelly last week! She said Adam had an affair, got the other woman pregnant and left her with 5 kids. Nice guy, huh? Kami Craven Olsen (Valdes) is his wife now, and business partner. Kelly claims to not have any contact with him, as he doesn't pay child support or anything like that she says.

Here is other info she provided: He currently lives in The Woodlands, near Houston Texas, and as far as I know he and Kami still operate Franchise Compliance, but it might be under a new name, Mystery Shopping Systems, Inc., probably owned by Kami. He has been employed by Triton Pools there in Conrad Texas, although I don't know if he is currently employed there.

I checked on Mystery Shopping Systems, but couldn't find anything. With so many people affected, I would think we could do some kind of class action thing. Does anyone know a lawyer who can provide advice for this?

Jennifer
I am still waiting to join with others as well! I am owed $221.33 by Franchise Compliance for a shop I did in Florida last April 2nd. I know that they got paid, so where is our money? They accepted the sample, the long and detailed report, etc.... They really should not get away with this!
