Fast Food Drive thru & Dine In

Hi, Just starting out here and considering some shops for a Fast food place that requires both a Drive thru shop and Dine In shop in the same meal time. I can't see the specifics without accepting it first. The question is how can I order from the drive thru then 5 minutes later go in and order again? Won't the workers be suspicious, as they can see both areas? Thanks!

Usually there are two drive-thru windows, one where you pay and the other where you pick up your food. The person who accepts your money may get a pretty good look at you if he's paying attention but usually can't see the counter area. The pickup window person can see both areas. But the shop periods are scheduled for what are usually their busiest times so he may be too busy to notice, and the pickup window person's job is to get the cars thru as fast as possible, so you are generally only at the window a few seconds. I've done many of these shops over the years and I've noticed that most of the workers are either so busy with other things or so bored they rarely pay any attention to the customers. The only time I worry about being noticed is if they don't give me a receipt and I have to ask because I figured then they have to respond to me so it makes them notice me.
Austinmom is exactly right. These shops are done every day without a hitch. I don't think you'll ever get a comment, but if you do you can say something like "Oh, yes, I picked up lunch for someone else. This one's for me."

The first shop I did was fast food, and at the time I thought the guidelines looked monumental. After a while this will all be easier, but we all have to start with that first shop.

If something doesn't go right for you, talk to the company. I can assure you from my personal experience that they understand there's a learning curve for new shoppers.

I ve done dozen of these shops and have never encountered a problem. Even wheb the same DT serves me at the WI. I do wear a cap and sunglasses at the DT and put on a jacket for the WI.
The mystery shopping company's guidelines will tell you EXACTLY what to look for. They will also give you a list of allowed food items. Be sure to follow the directions exactly to ensure that you will get paid.

This is what I normally do.
I've done many of these and have never had a comment. Once, I am sure I was spotted because the cashier inside was grinning away at me in an over the top, please give me a good report! type way.

Yes, the guidelines do seem overwhelming initially but once you have done a couple of these, they are a piece of cake. Best to wait until later in the month though when they are bonused to make it more worth your while.

Thanks all. I have now done a couple, without a problem and they were simple. I'm also picking up on that whole 'waiting till later in the month' thing. I saw how the rates were going up.
I do these if they get bonused. I usually have other errands to do, so I will do the dine-in one first, run to the Post Office or the bank, then hit the drive through on my way back, and give that meal to my kiddo.
