Accepting a food shop that is a single serve

Hello all,
I just recently accepted a food shop at a local restaurant. This will be my first one. I told my husband that he was going with me as I don't feel all that comfortable out at that time without him. Upon re-reading my instructions, they state that this is a single (person?) shop. Will they dock me if I take my husband, pay separately for his meal, even tho I would still do the job I came to do?

Thank you

If it is McDonald`s NO ONE can be with you at all. They will not pay you if there is someone with you.

Some jobs allow another person but their items must be on a different bill.

Others might not care if other items are on the bill, but will only reimburse their standard amount.

So, read your instructions carefully and if there is time ask your scheduler.

Ah, I'm so stupid. I just re-read the mass email sent out in which the job was advertised and it stated that someone could join me on a different ticket. Did not say it on the instructions, but it did on the email. I guess this mean that I must do my due diligence in this business smiling smiley
Yes, for mystery shopping, the devil is in the details. Read, read, read your instructions/guidelines/invitations/clarifications from schedulers/etc. until you know them like the back of your hand.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
