Welcome, Joyce. On the front page of the forum you will see a section called "New Mystery Shoppers". Read up there on how this all works and when you are ready to start signing up with companies there is a list at the beginning of the "Mystery Shopping Company Discussion" section of about 200 companies to begin signing up with. Good luck, and as you have questions, feel comfortable about asking smiling smiley
Hello all,
My wife is not working and my pay has been cut. We are a family of 7 and my wife and I would like to know if there are any real "mystery shopper" deals out there to help us bring in some extra income.

I also recently started my own blog, but haven't had time to update it properly.

Thanks,

There are real "mystery shopper" jobs out there, but as far as them being a "deal" that could really be debated. Currently there are many people in your situation who are turning to shopping, so both the fees for shops are down, the number of shops available is down (many clients have gone out of business, are closing locations or have stopped their shopping program) and the competition for work is fierce.

The standard job pays under $15 and likely at least part of that is a reimbursement for a purchase you must make to complete the job. The standard company will take 4-6 weeks to pay and reimburse you.
Hello, I've been shopping part time for about 5 years. I'm an "older" shopper, retired, and can be selective about what shops I accept. I have learned the hard way to evaluate distance to travel, time to complete reports, time to complete shop, and purchase required. Some shops can end up costing me money. So, I'm very selective but I do enjoy it. The best thing that I did was to take the MSPA training to become a Gold certified member.
