Ok. I do theater/ merchandising assignment. I haven't received my direct deposit since 11/23/12. Im owed compensation for 10+ assignments. Its normally deposited in my account at the beginning of the month , and again at the end of the month. Does anyone have any helpful input on why i haven't been paid yet.

There are responses on the other thread you started on this lack of payment (I'm assuming you are still talking about Market Force?) You might communicate with the company about lack of payment. I'm not sure anyone other than the company would have input on why you haven't been paid.
Well, I was hoping that a fellow merchandiser, with more experience in this line of work, could give me some HELPFUL INPUT. Obviously im talking about the same company. The company won't allow me to make a pay inquiry until at least 6 weeks after completion of assignments. So, if anyone has experienced a late payment in the past from this company it would be highly appreciated if you could tell me how long it took for you to be rightfully compensated, and what was the reason for the delay.
To get helpful input on a particular merchandising company, it would be best to post under "merchandising" and identify the company you are seeking information about. The more information you give about your situation, in the merchandising section, the better, if you want a merchandiser who is experienced with the company you seek information about, to share their opinion of your situation with that particular company.
AM, that was some helpful input.

First, you created this thread in the wrong forum (instead of the Merchandising Assignments and Companies forum). Then, you didn't even bother naming the merchandising company when you created this thread.

When you created this thread, did you expect people to click on your profile and look up your other post just to find out which company you were asking about so they could have the honor and privilege of serving you?

Feeling entitled much?

BTW, AustinMom did give you helpful input.
Dduubbss,

When you are new to this forum, it is better to just use the Search function to seek out what other people have/are discussing about a similar situation like yours.
I got "stung" too when I posted my first post asking for help. I think i even posted the same question in three different places...lol. Wish there was an "UNlike this post" button.
The forum can be a bit confusing when you are new, but Austin mom gave you a good place to start.
Also, a payment issue is more likely to get resolved by directly contacting the MSC, not asking other MS's on this forum.
Hope you get your problem resolved very soon, and welcome to the forum!
The title of this thread makes me giggle. I totally got a vision of the whole Pearl the landlord/Will Ferrell video from a couple years back.
I'm not sure exactly when you did these shops, but it often takes a month from when I complete the shop till I actually get paid. At one point this summer, I did a set of seven merchandising set ups on the same day. The pay came spread out over three paychecks. I have no idea why. It was all paid with in the six weeks you are told to wait before asking questions. This company doesn't pay, however, they typically do pay.
