NARMS/World Alliance

Has anyone one else tried using the new and improved NARMS - World Alliance? I used to pop in and check the offerings. Now all I see is stuff that is 60 or more miles away. I will not pay for the professional level, I was just wondering where all the listings went. Before the change over to World Alliance, I used to see ten to fifteen listings in the area ( There are some very hard to fill locations in the area) Do you think companies are not interested in listing with them and just go to Craigslist or some other free site? I am seeing listings with both large and small companies on Craigslist now.

I've been getting emails and even a phone call with job offers from The Retail Recruiter Support all of a sudden this week. One was soliciting me to sign up with GfK to do mystery shops. I was puzzled because I was already with GfK so I sent the message to a GfK scheduler to see what was going on. She told me about the NARMS change and said it was just a mass mailing and to ignore it.

I occasionally get contacted from my NARMS registration but they always say they found me through NARMS. I hadn't known about the change.

Just before I got that I had gotten another email from then saying TheInStoreGroup had work in my area and to contact them if I was interested. I replied asking what work they had and promptly got a phone call and accepted a minor weekly merchandising gig in my town.

Maybe they have made the site easier for recruiters to search. If it means more work, I'm all for it.

Time to build a bigger bridge.

I think they are (kind of) a paid site. You have to pay to get the benefits or something like that...its a little confusing.
Well, merchandising jobs don't pay like they used to. 7-11.000 is hardly worth me walking out the door. The gas alone is a killer!

It definitely was more than just a name change. I have gone to it a few times since the change and also now find nothing in my area, also do not want to pay. It was disappointing.
it seems they are just starting to make the switch to world alliance ... a few times i check on the new website and nothing showed for my area... which is weird because i used to get emailed about jobs pretty regularly and they never deleted the old ones...

i got called for a job two days ago through them and just starting the new hire stuff... more $$ is always welcome... now i have 4 part time jobs... all were found through NARMS/world alliance grinning smiley

shopping north west PA and south west ny
Someone else has taken over the NARMS name website or whatever it is. I keep getting offers to be a dragline tech at the Peabody mine in Wyoming. Have some emails from Narms jobs and it takes me to indeed.com
