I Have no CLUE!!! smiling smiley

I am certain that this question has been asked a thousand times from us newbies!!! I read the company discussions and I noticed that a lot of you have had negative experiences, believe me, we all appreciate the fact that you guys are so friendly and unfortunately you have had to experience these negative processes in order for us to learn.....Here is my question before I bore you guys to death, how do we find a decent company that you guys have had positive experiences with? Am I looking in the wrong spot? I realy appreciate your help and I am sure that I speak for others that are new on this forum!!

You will find existing threads where we have already spoken about our favorite companies and why.
There are 2 good sources fro compan ies Voiltion.com is one and below the message box is Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies. \Hope that helps. Goo luck and Good Shopping.
There is also the factor that we all have different tastes and style. There are jobs and companies that others love that I absolutely will not do or work with and vice versa. To me, the most important thing for you to be aware of are the companies that are not paying as agreed even for acceptable work.

I don't mind too much if a company takes 90 days to pay if they pay in 90 days or less. It may determine how much I am willing to do for them, but as long as they are paying as agreed when agreed, it is okay. But a company that indicates they pay in 90 days and after 90 days you are emailing and phoning to try to get paid you want to stay away from. You should not have to dun them for payment.

There are particular shops that are a real bear and have an unlikely probability of being able to complete successfully. Being aware of those before undertaking them is wise, and you may choose not to 'rise to the challenge'. But you will find that there are very few shops rejected where a shopper followed the instructions. Some companies will accept some shops where not everything was accomplished, provided you have your proofs of visit. But some companies will reject such shops even if it was impossible for you or any other shopper to have gotten everything needed.
I just started shopping Mid-July and between this board (which is much better than Volition in my opinion) and Shadow Shopper I have more than I can handle. Yes, I did pay almost $19 for a 3 month subscription to SS but within a few days I had landed an ongoing assignment that more than paid for it with one completed assignment. This week alone my hubby and I have eaten out twice, both fully paid for and I have made over $200 for about 3 hours work.

Are you having any payment issues with them? Recntly doing two shops for them. I don't like issues.
Sojo - No problems with QAMs. My most recent check was dated September 2, paying for a shop done August 20. I have one unpaid shop, which was done September 4.

The best experiences I've had are with Maritz, Corporate Research International, Research Services Group, ATH and SPG. They're all very accomodating if I need an extension and pay fairly quickly.
