Cool Checkup

I recently shopped a restaurant and gave them a bad report. Especially about flies in the restaurant and landing on my food and throwing it away and the server texting..

I was called and asked about my description, including the clothes that I was wearing and the car that I had driven. I provided all of this information.

Here is the cool part. I shopped them again 1 month later.

There were 3 huge fly light devices on 3 walls and a new management. (Kinda like bug lights, but huge.) (Kinda like a Manager, not a dork.)

Service was excellent.

I guess they saw me swat the flies and throw my food in the trash?

Never be afraid to tell it like it is!

BTW, it was Market Force who called me on the carpet and also Market Force who gave me the later shop. The problem was corrected. (I do not work directly for MF, (I am a shopper) this is a true story.)

Well, at least you know they took your report to heart! That is the job we are asked to do and it is good to know that sometimes they really do listen and respond to the reports. We are not usually privy to that information. We don't know what goes on behind the scenes. You now have the satisfaction of knowing your report was a positive thing. Good Job!
I felt like I'd done a good thing when I finally saw a repaired hand dryer in the RR at a local discount store. I reported 3 shops in a row that the button you push to activate it had popped out and was hanging by a spring. I had visions of some poor unsuspecting customer getting electrocuted. But, at last, I made my usual visit and it was fixed. Maybe it wasn't my information that got it done, but I like to think so.
I noticed the extremely overgrown trees and shrubbery had been dramatically cut back after I'd noted it on a recent bank shop ... of course the fall pruning had probably been scheduled for months, but seeing the improvements made me feel I had somehow contributed! grinning smiley
