My first pooch

Ugh......

So I did a breakfast shop last week and it went off with no hitches. Did the same chain for a dinner shop today and I did 99.9% of the instructions accurately but failed to order for "To Go" instead of "Dine In". I submitted the report then sent an apologetic email throwing myself on the mercy of the court. I deserve not to get paid but I'm hoping I will since everything else was done to the letter. This was for MFI, anyone wanna place bets on whether or not I'll get paid?

Sorry- just had the exact same thing happen to me, in a town far away. They gave me the option of going back, but I cancelled instead. I figure it was worth the nice quiet lunch by myself, but too far to drive back again.

I will bet that you will not be paid because they won't be able to use the shop. Like Jaosmom you will probably be offered an opportunity to reshop.

Sometimes you luck out and they need both shops done and nobody has claimed the other version yet, but with MFI these things always get claimed well in advance of due dates.

Absent any emails (which I haven't received) how do I know if the shop was accepted or not? The CPI/Receipt Status page shows everything "Verified". Is that the final step? Thanks!

"Verified" simply means somebody looked at the receipt and found it was overall correct and legible. It has been only a couple of days so keep holding your breath for a few more. They may be flying it by the client to see if it is accepted (may not have even noticed the goof) because with many of their shops they apparently have a certain 'variance' level allowed. Or they may just not have gotten it edited yet.

I'm betting that they use the report anyway but don't pay for it. They're good at that.

I had the same issue with the this company on a shop with carhops, all the other shops I had done for this client required you to park in a stall. The last one was a drive thru only shop and I totally missed it. Noticed it when I was filling out the report, so since it was my fault I went ahead and did the shop again that evening, maybe I should have tried to submit the original, oh well.
