Ruth's Chris Steakhouse

Hi!!

I have a shop for htis place today. never been here before, but have heard lots about it. For those who have done it. Is the reimbursement amount a good idea of what it will cost? Or is it a gross under/over-estimate? I know I've done sme restaurant shops where the reimbursement amount was double what I actually spent. I'm not familiar with their prices at all. Any advice on how to keep this a low output so I'm not out 2 Benjis+ for a month?

If you are careful, you can do it on what's offered for the reimbursement. I think it's a fair deal for the work required.

You don't have to to order the cheapest items on the menu, but it's easy to go over by $20-30 IMHO. I think you can look up the menu online. Prices may vary in different locations. Be sure to account for tip and taxes when figuring the costs.
Ah, I see. Thanks! I'll peruse the menu some more. I'm excited, but I don't want to get there and not be prepared!
I ALWAYS look up the menu online before any fine-dining shop. I quick 'goggling' of the menu will send you in much more prepared.
My local one is good, but not the heavenly experience I expected when I first shopped it. I had no difficulty staying within the amount. This MSP is pretty generous, comparatively speaking, and we were able to order what we wanted. We did not order wine or alcoholic beverages at the table. My dining companion is a teetotaler who doesn't even like to GO to the bar, so I saved the bar shop for after dinner. Companion went to the lounge and made a couple of business calls while I quickly ordered at the bar. He came to grab me and we left. I did find the bar drinks very high-priced although I wasn't shocked by the dining prices. You'll enjoy it. And the MSC has a reasonable report.
No wine at the table and only 1 drink at the bar makes it easy to come in under budget.

I shudder at the thought of a good steak without a glass (or two) of good cabernet to go along with it, so with a like-minded guest I'm usually pushing the limits.
