Hillman, you are not doing good. Seems you should sign up with more companies. On this website there are hundreds of them.
I live in a fairly well populated area, so I have no problem finding shops. The rural areas I'm sure dont have as much to offer.
I have done about 120 shops in the last 9 months, over the winter months we are pretty busy at my job so I dont do as many. We are starting to slow down, and I'm gearing up to shop. Its not enough to support myself, when I was doing numerous a week the most I think I made was about 350 a month.
this has already been established, but if you break it down the hourly pay is terrible. I use it to supplement my income, its a good way to generate extra money.
I have been shopping with one company for the entire 9 months and they frequently call me and ask me to do shops. I had a phone call this morning as a matter of fact. Really its up to you to actively seek out the companies and jobs, they wont come to you unless you are an established shopper with them.
what State are you in? I live in a rural area too. The nearest cities are at least 30 miles away, which is where most of my shops are. I try to line up enough with high enough commission to make it worth while on my day off or make sure I can complete them on the days I work. Are you looking at sights are just expecting them to come to you? How many companies are you signed up with?
The trick to mystery shopping is sign up with as many companies as you can. The more you are signed up the more offers you will get. I do between 40 and 50 shops a month, the money doesn't pay the bills but it sure helps make it easier.

Hi Hillman, it can be rough trying to get started, but hang in there. Go to [www.mysteryshoppersamerica.com] That is a mystery shoppers job resource center. You can get a lot of leads there. Just remember, a whole lot of companies want you to take a test..They are simple, and they give ya three attempts to pass. I find them helpful, however, some find them to be a pain in the you know what...I feel that any thing you can learn about what the company wants, will help you do the job. Good Luck, and don't give upsmiling smiley Gloria E. Morgan
For almost every shop I have done I have had to pass a test. They provide the training modules and you have to pass with a 100% correct score. It is tedious and time consuming, however its a must to obtain the assignments.
