A possible problem for male apartment shoppers

Now, in addition to the targets and those who do not state their name in the phone greeting, it appears several community's are supplying visit information to a central registry. I was informed last week, I would need to use a nick name, different phone number and an alternate E-address for each shop. Add in the requirement of 2 MSCs that, after typing all the information concerning the job in the Q&A section, I type an overview using entirely different verbiage and this is rapidly becoming unprofitable.

I really DO NOT UNDERSTAND why the client does not remove our information from their registry once they find out we are shoppers.
Are these communities from different management companies that are sharing information?
There are a few very, very large management companies that share all information within their company ONLY. Some small ones also do this. Recently, seveal large companies stopped purging their record periodically, and expanded the sharing of files from regional sharing to national sharing, again, within the company. EPMS, I am told, has actually offered to cover the cost of purging the files for the client, and has been refused.

So, yes, this gives female shoppers, who can more easily claim a recent change of surname, an advantage. It also means that apt. shoppers need to update their supplies of unique follow-up phone numbers and email addresses much more frequently. Major PITA.

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
I did some video shops for one management company and they actually did remove me from their database after every shop. I wish the idea would catch on.

I have a male friend who has a maiden name -- his wife did not want to lose her last name. He wasn't particularly tied to his last name, so he took hers!

Of course, explaining this reason for a name change would make one quite memorable.

Can it really be called a maiden name if it's a guy? Don't you have to be female to be a maiden smiling smiley Does he actually call it a maiden name? I'm curious if he was able to change it through the marriage paperwork or if he needed to file an official name change.
I'm not sure how he changed it...I learned about this because he was a student in a class I taught at the local community college. As an ice breaker, people had to report little known facts about themselves (anonymously), and it was the job of the class to match the fact to the person. Not one person guessed this one right...and he wrote "My maiden name is _____." I should find out how it was changed.
Goofy, yes, the MSC told me to let them know after I completed each shop so they could contact the management company.
