Take your Valentine to Boston Market!

I know I was excited and canceled my dinner plans to head right over to Boston Market when I received the email today. Anyone else?

Nope. That's because I have better plans. I was thinking of taking my shopstitute out for the special fish nuggets promotion assignment. LOL! winking smiley

I should have brought a date to help me with the fish nuggets audit. I felt weird counting three boxes of mcbites all by my lonesome. Plus the customers were staring.

I must be doing well then, the only offer I got was for a steak dinner smiling smiley I think I would have preferred Boston Market.
I feel left out. I did not receive an invite to Boston's. Maybe it is becuase I did not want to do a furniture shop that I have dome several times for $24. I told them I would do it for $30 but they told me that they could not do that. Oh well. I think they would recongnize me anyway.

Yes, it was a fish fiesta at our house. After ending up purchasing over 60 of these, my dogs were included in the bonanza. At least THEY are feeling the love! LOL!

I want some chocolates big time after finishing that funky assignment.

Hubby took me to Buca di Beppo. Since he had to actually pay for dinner, he complaint it was expensive. He would've been happier if I took him to Boston Market.

Hmmmm. Fish nuggies or pasta? Geesh, after thinking about this at length - like half a second - I would have much rather gone to Buca di Beppo.

Sniff. I feel left out. Nobody invited me to Boston Market.

Oh. Yeah. We don't have one in my town. Maybe that's why.....

I'm sure there's still a few fish nuggies rolling around here, ItsASecret. I realize it's a comedown from Boston Market, though. winking smiley

And just an FYI to those that might be wondering about the aphrodisiac qualities of all these fish nuggies that are being consumed tonight on behalf of this promotion, I'm tellin' ya that it's nothing to write home about.

Happy Valentine's, everyone! smiling smiley

I don't even know what fish nuggets you're talking about although I vaguely think I may have seen a commercial about them.

Trust me, you're lucky, ItsASecret. This was a one day marathon marketing audit for the promotion of fish nuggies for a major client, and you didn't miss out on a thing.

No more Boston Markets in my area =( Now this thread has me wondering if fish nuggets taste as nasty as they sound?

Hey! I didn't get invited to Boston Market, either. Of course, the only restaurant in our town closed a few years back. But heck ~ I get offers for cell phone shops in Canada regularly! I'm in Oregon. The schedulers must be remembering that time over a hundred years ago when Oregon was actually part of Canada. Even more off-topic, I notice the cell phone shops in Canada are still paying $14-15, while the ones here dropped to $10.

Anyway.

How did I miss the fish nugget gig?! Was this handled by a different MSC than usually handles this client? I didn't see this at all ~ and I've been checking the usual MSC's job board regularly, as they've had some good shops in my area lately. I actually have been wanting to try the fish nuggets. Did they make you count them while you were at the counter? (Someone referenced getting odd looks from customers while they counted.) Now I feel really left out! : )

StormCloud, we have two things in common!

The only Boston Market we had in town closed a few years ago

I too want to know about the fish nugget gig? I did not see it anywhere.
Hubby and I cooked dinner at home. Boston Market would've been less expensive. I made the grave error of letting him go to the store unattended and he spent a week's food budget on stuff for a single meal. *horrified face*
For all those that expressed curiosity about this gig, the project for this client was handled by a different MSC than the one that usually handles their mystery shopping activities. Yes, it was required that the nuggies be counted, but this could be done in the dining area. Still, how many people order a meal that includes 15 pieces, a shareable that has 30 pieces, and a snack that has 10, and then announces they are going to eat all that on the premises? Puhleeze. As far as how they tasted, think fish stick. The pay was slightly higher than everyday FF assignments and included full reiumbursement for the $17 worth of nuggies. The amount of paperwork was excessive, but the report ended up being way easier than it looked.

You guys are killing me over here.

My hubby asked where were eating last night. I had a Mc Donald's shop but I took tht to my brother and spent the bonused fee I would get from Mickey D's to buy Mission Burrito.
as shopgal stated, contrary to popular belief, there is more then one msc that shops the fish bites people on a regular basis. They have contracts with 3 different msc's. The one that most know about and hate and two others.

Oh yeah? ... I did one of those very audits. I pulled into a parking lot to do the count so that I wouldnt be recognized. After I counted all of them I did the Count Von Count laugh.. well little did I know that I had company outside my car looking at me like I needed a screwdriver.
Seth,
I just had an image of you wearing a black cape and counting all those nuggets aloud, in the Count's voice. Snrk.
