Agh! Why Couldn't It Have Been A Shop?

Don't you just hate when you go somewhere and have a bad visit when your not doing a shop? Doesn't it irritate you more when it's a place that you know gets shopped?

I went to Panda tonight and ordered broccoli beef. I got 10-15 pieces of broccoli and three little pieces of meat. So ticked off right now. I may as well have ordered a vegetarian plate.

If it's not a shop and you're upset why don't you email the company your concern? Most companies/stores/restaurants have a "contact us" button on their website.

Sorry you had a bad experience! sad smiley
Because there would have been so much more narrative on a bad shop!!

I was glad I wasn't doing one the other day because hubby and I would have both agreed that the description would have been 12 year old boy. However, the individual had a very female name, the other server referred to her as she, and she delivered us wine and you need to be 18 years old to serve that in our state. I don't think this company would've so openly been violating those laws.

I have become much more critical of customer service in general since I have been shopping. Things I would have accepted before, I now want to complain about and report to someone.
Good point!

The only times I had bad service and wished to be mystery shopping the place were before I became a mystery shopper. Now I know how difficult it is to write that bad report. Now it is much more enjoyable to know I can complain as a regular customer.

That recently happened to me....I was in a restaurant (on my own), and the restroom was a mess, I really wanted to write a report, seems the jobs I get have clean restrooms, oh well, luck of the draw!!

Live consciously....
That's the difference between places that are shopped and places that aren't.

I pray it does not occur that the last thing I did before I died was vacuum the house or eat broccoli.
Panda always has a customer review survey on the bottom of its receipt, at least they do here.
I'm always looking at name tags these days. When I get repeat employees it's easier to remember their names at least.

For those that say I can still complain, um...I know, you do need some sort of intelligence to be a mystery shopper after all. But for what, a chance to get a $100 gift card? A chance to win $5000? I know the odds of winning this are slim and the questionnaires are sometimes as long as the average ms report. Unless I had a serious complaint, it's not worthwhile to give feedback without compensation. I was sharing the plate with my kids, 3 pieces for meat to split between 3 people, equals next to nothing. If it was just for me, three pieces would have been somewhat acceptable. I typically get more meat than that in a single serving, but I ordered two servings.
110mama, I get what you are saying, but just for the record...Panda does not really have a vegetarian plate!!! There was a news story a year or so about the tofu and eggplant being made with a meat stock sauce. Now when I go there they are quick to point out this dish is not vegetarian but only if asked. In my town this is usually the only acceptable "vegetarian" alternative on their menu as the wilted and overcooked mixed vegetables they offer as the vegetarian meal is neither an Asian delicacy as it "appears" (not a mystery shopping type of comment) to look like steamed vegetables or something anyone wanting stir fried Asian food would not want as their main dish. I lived in Asia for several years and unless they are ill or a child they do not usually cook that way.
As for stories...Last week I was in Disneyland. As that place used to be squeaky clean at all hours I was amazed to see so much dust on the products in one store! I was just wishing it was a mystery shop..not just so I could report it but also so I could get the steep entry price reimbursed.
Hubby and I was in Longhorn for dinner and didn't see a waitress until we had been seated for 26 minutes then after we ordered it was another 25 minutes before we got the appetizer. My first thought, it was a good thing for them that I was not doing a mystery shop! The MSC would not have been happy with the timings on that shop. I also look at name badges as a result of mystery shopping but my other habit that I have developed is timing.
Had I not been doing a shop, I would have left far before 26 minutes had passed.
